The Essence Of The Abode With The Art Deco Interiors Is An Intricate Dance | Studio Dashline
The client’s vision was clear: a highly functional study space that seamlessly transitions into an open hangout and meeting area. The challenge was to infuse the space with bold and immaculate elements that resonated with the client’s personality. Together, while maintaining a softer language embodied by a central tree within the courtyard, In the early stages of design, the marriage of the softness of curves with the boldness of Art Deco emerged as the perfect blend.
The study space takes centre stage. It is a hub of productivity enveloped in a palette of tan colours, profound arches, and decadent details. The play of curves and metal accents creates an environment that is not only visually striking but also conducive to focused work.
A bay window seating area provides an oasis for relaxation. During the long working hours or a cozy nook for leisurely Sunday afternoons, complemented by the warmth of a cup of coffee.
The courtyard, designed as an extension of the study space, transforms into a collaborative hangout spot. Distinct seating elements, strategically placed to encourage memorable interactions, take on sculptural qualities amplified by skylights overhead.
The client’s flamboyant personality finds expression through a curated collection of quirky and unique objects sourced from around the world.
In contrast, the conical skylights and the retained tree create a grounded atmosphere. Thereby, weaving the user into a vivid biosphere where starkness meets softness in perfect harmony.
Textures and patterns within a fluid rhapsody become the rhythm of the space. Altogether, geometrical accents and metal details serve as the cutting words that draw attention and create a cohesive narrative.
The design is not just about aesthetics. It is a thoughtful composition that elevates functionality and aesthetics to create an immersive living experience.
Fluid Rhapsody is an exploration of contrasts, a delicate balance between the bold and the subtle. It is a testament to the client’s vision. It is brought to life through curves, arches, metal accents, and a meticulous selection of eclectic objects.
In the heart of the cultural city of Bangalore, this augmented residential abode stands as a testament to its beauty. One that emerges when architecture becomes poetry and the spatial context becomes a canvas for creativity and expression.
