  • Pastel color scheme plays a dominant part in this apartment design | Neev Design Studio

When a young couple decided to build their dream home for themselves and their two little daughters, they entrusted Neev Design Studio with the task. They knew that Neev had the expertise and the creativity to deliver a design that would suit their needs and preferences. They gave Neev a free hand to create a home that would reflect their personality and lifestyle. Neev Design Studio took up the challenge and came up with a design that was both functional and aesthetic, blending modern elements with traditional touches through a pastel color scheme. The result was a home that the couple and their daughters could enjoy for years to come.

Editor’s Note: The interiors of this elegant apartment in Ahmedabad are full of vim and vigour. The cool pastel blue and warm wood visually separate the space vertically while also interacting with each other. The embossed design on the wall adds a biophilic-Indian touch to the space. Textures are a dominant feature and are in the right amounts. – Gopika Pramod

As you enter the house, you are greeted by a glimpse of Ganpatiji’s idol, which has been placed in a strategic position to bless the visitors. The living room is a cosy and inviting space that showcases the owner’s personal style and taste. The living room has a soothing pastel colour scheme that
creates a light and airy atmosphere.

The focal point of the room is the elemental wall, inspired by the famous artist S.H.Raza, who used geometric shapes to express his vision of nature. The wall is painted in a striking turquoise colour that contrasts with the pastel pink chairs. A plush and comfortable sofa with an attached side table provides convenience.

The wooden panelling on the ceiling defines the passage for movement, while the TV unit wall is panelled with teak wood and grey PU colour, with a touch of brass for elegance.

The partition between the dining and living area doubles as a crockery unit and allows for open spaces by keeping a low height. The dining table has been designed in teak wood and topped with statuario marble, creating a contrast with the wooden chairs.

The kitchen has a subtle and warm theme, with teak wood drawers and overhead storage with back painted glass in beige colour. The dado wall has been clad with statuario marble, giving a smooth and sleek finish. The house is a harmonious blend of colours, textures and materials, reflecting the style and comfort of the homeowners.

The bed also has cantilever side tables on both sides, which add a minimalist flair to the room. The console table opposite the bed is the focal point of the room, custom-designed by Neev Design Studio. The wall panelling is done in a way that enhances the classy and minimal vibe of the room. The wardrobe
matches the theme of the room, blending in seamlessly with the rest of the decor.
