In The Arc & Angle, the rigid precision of contemporary geometry meets the fluid grace of organic forms. Thus, creating a residence that finds its unique rhythm through the art of contrast.
The Concept Lab
The home is anchored by a sophisticated palette of taupe, charcoal, and warm timber. It is punctuated by metallic accents, organic forms and soft stone. There is a conscious effort to balance the “linear” with the “organic”. Here sharp, fluted wall panels meet the soft curves of arched niches and rounded furniture.
The heart of the home features a striking backlit onyx TV feature wall, framed by deep-toned fluted panelling. This serves as a luminous focal point that contrasts against the matte textures of the leather seating. The furniture selection, specifically the sculptural swivel armchair and the nested circular coffee tables, breaks the rigidity of the room, adding a layer of fluid comfort.
One of the most defining features is the use of the arch.● The Pooja/Bar Unit: An exquisite arched niche with tiered fluted detailing houses a translucent fluted glass cabinet. It serves as both a functional storage piece and a piece of structural art.● The Circular Mirror Niche: A copper-toned circular cutout set within dark wood panelling creates a sense of depth and mystery, acting as a visual “portal” between spaces.
The kitchen and dining areas maintain a seamless visual flow. The cabinetry utilises a high-contrast mix of dark fluted wood and smooth sand-colored laminates. The integration of high-end black appliances into the cabinetry ensures that the utility of the space never compromises its sleek, curated aesthetic.
Each bedroom continues the theme of “Quiet Luxury”:● The Earth-Toned Suite: Features a custom headboard with abstract, desert-inspired graphics that complement the mountain-scape artwork above. The use of varied textile textures from quilted bedspreads to woven cushions creates a sensory-rich environment.● The Minimalist Suite: Focuses on verticality, with floor-to-ceiling ribbed panelling in a soft cocoa shade, providing a serene backdrop for sculptural 3D wall art.
Ultimately, The Arc & Angle is more than a study in shapes; it is a harmonious dialogue where structural discipline and sculptural softness coexist, resulting in a home that is as intellectually sharp as it is emotionally inviting.
