  • Neoclassicism Interior Design Brings Elegance and Comfort to This Vadodara Apartment | Alter Architects

    [Sassy_Social_Share]

Tucked away on the 10th floor of Bellisimo 3, in one of Vadodara’s most upscale neighborhoods, this 2700 sqft, 4BHK apartment is a perfect fusion of elegance, comfort, and practicality. The owners, originally from Delhi, made the decision to trade the fast-paced life of the capital for the slower rhythm of Vadodara—but they didn’t want to leave their love for Neoclassicism interior design behind.

They wanted a home that was both grand and inviting, a space filled with the luxury of Italian marble and brass, but also one that was easy to maintain and live in every day. Our challenge was to take that high-end, tasteful neo-classism feel and tone it down just enough to make it workable—without losing the opulence or charm.

The solution? A refined yet relaxed approach. Stunning Makrana marble flooring, flowing seamlessly through every room, connects the entire apartment. Its subtle veining and soft elegance are perfectly complemented by touches of brass, adding a hint of warmth and luxury to the space. To keep the feel fresh and open, we kept the material palette simple, with a few splashes of colour strategically placed to create a sense of lightness and space. The result is a neoclassical vibe that feels both grand and approachable—a home that is as beautiful as it is practical.

Editor’s Note: “A living example of Neoclassicist houses, this apartment speaks of thoughtful luxury. As grandeur flows through the spaces and light flows through ‘Veins of Elegence,’ design is not just seen, but also felt. With timeless textures and modern rhythm, each room is crafted for warmth, comfort, and an effortless grace.” ~ Anusha Sridhar

    Living Area

The living area is thoughtfully designed to showcase luxury, with plush sofa sets accented by hints of brass, arranged against a striking Italian marble panel that offers a relaxed and polished appeal.

An elegant accent chair in the same tone completes the look, while a large, solid white marble table anchors the space at the centre, adding both elegance and balance to the room.

    Dining Space

Flowing effortlessly from the living room, the dining area is an extension of the home’s elegant design. The dining table mirrors the foyer’s artistic credenza, featuring a luxurious marble top paired with brass-accented legs and frame.

Surrounding the table are sleek leatherette chairs, offering both style and comfort. The panels that subtly separate the kitchen are adorned with the same marble as the living room, creating a seamless visual connection between the spaces.

    Master Bedroom

A serene retreat, the master bedroom exudes warmth through the natural beauty of textured oak, paired with soft beige panels adorned with geometric mouldings.

    neoclassicism interior design

The space is thoughtfully curated in a muted palette of beige, white, and wood, ensuring a timeless and tranquil atmosphere.

    Guest Bedroom

This pristine white bedroom features clean lines and delicate fluted details that create a sense of continuity. At the centre, a solid wooden bed with an elongated backrest anchors the space, offering a refined yet inviting aesthetic.

    Parents’ Bedroom

The parents’ bedroom embodies a perfect balance of symmetry, texture, and refined luxury. At its heart lies a grand upholstered bed set against a plush beige backrest. As a result, it creates an inviting yet sophisticated focal point. A monochromatic palette in warm neutral tones sets the foundation of the space. Furthermore, a careful interplay of textures—soft fabrics, matte finishes, and smooth brass inlays—elevates the design, adding depth and richness.

Fluted panelling is strategically incorporated to enhance the architectural character, seamlessly tying the room together with a sense of rhythm and continuity.

    Kids Bedroom

Distinct from the rest of the home, this vibrant space embraces a playful aesthetic. A curved-edge bed, positioned against captivating blue landscape-themed wallpaper, infuses the room with energy and movement.

The curved motif extends seamlessly into the study unit, creating a sense of flow and cohesion. Moreover, subtle brass accents add a touch of warmth and sophistication.

    Home Theatre

Designed for ultimate comfort and ambiance, the home theatre features a stunning wooden ensemble complemented by deep blue upholstered acoustic panels on the walls and accented wallpaper in ceiling.

These elements work together to enhance sound quality while setting the perfect mood for family movie nights. Luxurious KUKA recliners complete the space, ensuring a truly immersive experience.
