Modern Residence That Personified Luxury And Glamour In An Effortless Way | OT Architects

This modern-day house, deftly showered with modern elements, instantly grabs uninterrupted attention of the outlook. The client, Mr. Mohan sachdeo, with a wish to have a 2-floor mansion that personified luxury and glamour in an effortless way.

The heart of the house is the welcomed warm coloured drawing hall that stands out for its richness in materialistic and aesthetic value. The main wall is highlighted with Italian marble followed by the veneer clad together with intermediate grooves. The most striking feature here is the MS Partition juxtaposed with Corian to ensure privacy thus adding dynamic character to the overall space.

The dining area offers a visually appealing space that volumetrically binds all spaces into a thread. The minimal cream coloured dining is converse with MS and polished wood crockery unit uplifted the overall ambience. Carefully selected pieces of art and sculpture from the elements of focus in the interesting interior decor.

The false ceiling creates a dramatic effect with the use of natural wood and painted glass. The cherry on the cake is the hanging ceiling chandelier which adds the perfect graphical value to the overall composition. The kitchen is flanked by a dining space with the composition of white Kalinga countertop and contrast black tinted Glass on the rear walls. The prayer space is ideally placed at the center, done in subtle and sober decor with the lavish door.

The master bedroom reflects a plush, luxurious design sentiment with rug and brown veneered panelling and grooved Italian which imparts luxurious and warm feel. The strips of the wooden rafters running along its entire length add depth and vastness to the space. The floor to ceiling curtains with a cream brown lends a rich look .

The plush guest room comes alive with dark wooden panelling against black lacquered glass using rose gold polished wooden strips, gives the otherwise contemporary décor a dash of ethnicity.   A  sleek metal artifact on the bed back comes together to create a sophisticated retreat.

 A double bed centralized in this children’s bedroom with a neutral colour palette of cotton whites and free-flowing royal blue bed back. Space is punctuated with splashes of warm teak veneer and washed in natural light. On one wall, hangs a wooden tree with decent artwork making up the background.

The guest bedroom is charming and warm. Delightful white Italian cladding behind the headboard become a design element in this room, by concealed linear lighting of the bed transforms  the aura of the space. The suspended black mirror followed by wooden beadings creates a symphony of playfulness and uplift the ambience, accentuating the entire space.

The formal drawing hall speaks of its balance with its cozy and snug nature- with the plush furnishings and a centralized arrangement. It is laid on a neutral colour scheme to enhance its sober attribute and opulent appeal. The texture of the dark coloured furniture matches beautifully with the light coloured Italian flooring and subtle warm shade of the veneer. One can’t overlook the rear wall created using wooden beadings and texture paint combined with the warm veneer creatively designed accent wall.

The home theatre lounge has been sound-proofed with fabric panelling and an acoustic hunter douglas ceiling to prevent the sound from travelling outside.  It has a colourful palette including red and yellow.

The children’s bedroom is predominantly clean white with deliberate splashes of blue added for a vibrant touch. The eye-catching bed back is made with the 3d MDF design followed by dark veneer with the wooden beadings an angular pattern. 

The uncluttered spacious interiors were designed to enhance the sense of peace and being in sync with nature. materially speaking luxury and easy maintenance have been meticulously combined in an aesthetic amalgamation.
