  1. Cleaning the shower door tracks with lemon

A metal-made shower track is prone to trust. However, the major problem is the accumulation of soap scum and mould. To clean them, you can use lemon. In this process, you will need a few amounts of lemon juice, salt and toothbrush. What you need to do is to mix salt and lemon juice properly. Then apply the combination in track’s parts and corners using a toothbrush. After 15 minutes, properly rinse the cleaning solution using warm water. 

2.Cleaning the tracks using vinegar

Are you looking for an all-natural cleaning solution to clean the shower room door? Use white vinegar. Vinegar is quite effective in cleaning hard water and soap scum. For this cleaning process, you will need white vinegar, spray bottle, microfiber cloth, and distilled water, toothbrush, and cotton balls. 

To begin, properly soak the cotton balls into the vinegar. Now apply it on door tracks to make them wet. Hold on! If you have stone made floors, then be careful while applying this as it can damage the floor.  

Now, it can be left for around 20 to 30 minutes. After that, use a toothbrush and scrub the soap scum and stains. Once done, wash away all the things and remaining vinegar using water. Now, use a clean cloth and dry them. 

3.Cleaning the shower door tracks using a steamer

When you have a steamer, you don’t have to use any chemicals for this. For this process, you will need a steam cleaner, a putty knife or spatula and some microfiber cloths.

Before using, go through the instruction carefully and adjust the steamer for the desired level of pressure. Using the wand, try to loosen dirt and stains. If required, wrap a cloth around the knife and use it to remove stains and soap scum from the hard-to-reach edges. Once done, properly clean the area and dry it using a clean microfiber cloth.

4.Cleaning the door tracks using baking soda

Baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate), when mixed with water, can be used as a perfect cleaning solution. For cleaning, you will need baking soda, water, a bowl, old clothes and a knife. 

Mix water and baking soda properly in a bowl and prepare a smooth paste. Use a cloth to apply the solution in the tracks. Now use a toothbrush and knife to scrub the thick layer of dirt. After around 30 minutes, clean them using a damp cloth. Baking soda, with its natural deodorizer characteristics, can turn the cleaning less awful. 

Apart from this, you can go for a commercial cleaner, but prefer to buy a non-toxic cleaner. Apply it to the tracks and leave it for around 15 minutes to take effect. Use a brush to clean hard-to-reach parts and then rinse it using warm water. Dry the area using a clean cloth. That’s it.
