Boho Interior Design Comes Alive in a Soulful Bangalore Space | Eijya Designs

Tucked away in a bustling Bangalore neighbourhood, Anubhav is more than just a home—it’s a feeling, an experience. Designed for a young couple from Assam with a modern eye and a deep love for the arts, this 1500 sq. ft. three-bedroom apartment captures the essence of boho interior design through farmhouse chic living with a layered, poetic soul.

Boho Interior Design Comes Alive in a Soulful Bangalore Space | Eijya Designs

From the very beginning, the brief was clear: to create a warm, textural space rooted in simplicity and soul. The clients, both admirers of Van Gogh, brought to the table not only a refined design sensibility but also iconic pieces like Starry Night and Almond Blossoms, which became the conceptual backbone of the home’s palette. Muted blues, dusty greens, soft blushes—every hue was borrowed from their favourite canvases, then translated into tactile, liveable design.

A Home Inspired by Art and Nature

The design of Anubhav leans into slow living. Wicker accents, handcrafted lights, and wooden textures imbue the space with a rustic warmth, while clean silhouettes and curated forms maintain a modern aesthetic.

The TV unit is reimagined in wood and cane, hallway niches glow with ambient light, and woven elements dance softly throughout the home—each detail intentional, each texture telling its own story. Despite spatial constraints, the design never feels boxed in.

The design considers every corner with purpose, blending function and aesthetic clarity. Seamlessly integrated custom storage solutions maintain a clutter-free environment without sacrificing character. This is a space that breathes, flows, and embraces you

The kitchen, in matte wood and soft beige, is clean and minimal, but never cold. Minimalist hardware and under-cabinet lighting elevates both function and form. It’s modern yet grounded in a rustic ethos. It blends into the home’s palette with effortless ease, while still being fully functional and family ready.

Compact, Clever, and Crafted with Soul

Anubhav thrives on contrast—raw with refined, rustic with contemporary. The bedrooms are sanctuaries in their own right: calming, comfortable, and tailored for retreat. Floating nightstands, wood n wicker beds, and layered lighting add dimension, while the art subtly anchors the space in memory and meaning.

Custom wardrobes with cane inlays and a mix of closed and open shelving systems bring in smart storage without overwhelming. The often-overlooked corridor now features paneling and ambient lighting, transforming it into a striking feature rather than just a passageway.

A Design Language That Feels Like Home

But what sets Anubhav apart isn’t just its aesthetics—it’s the emotion behind every decision. The home is an embodiment of the clients’ personalities: rooted, artistic, and quietly confident.

Beauty lasts, comfort stays, and the home becomes something not just seen but deeply felt.

In a world of fast trends and louder statements, Anubhav chooses to whisper. And in doing so, it speaks volumes.
