  • Blend Of Abstract Artworks And Soothing Zen Blue Colour Tones | The Melange Studio

At the heart of Gujranwala Town, New Delhi, Cirque House is a diverse blend of abstract artworks and soothing zen blue colour tones, which creates a feeling of intimacy and serenity within a minimalist framework. It stands as a testament to the essence of a modern family, blending personalities, eccentric choices, and a shared appreciation for the beauty of life’s simple moments.

The project, designed by The Melange Studio, unfolds as a story told through a design narrative. A three-generation nuclear family, while embracing distinct tastes and unorthodox perspectives, collectively seeks luxury in simplicity.

Editor’s Note: “A gracious blend of abstract artworks, a striking colour palette and a soothing zen aura evoke a sense of minimalist opulence in this abode. The captivating interiors of the abode embrace the diversity of personalities in the residence and blend them most harmoniously. The suspended beaded statement ceiling light stands as the focal point of the interiors.” ~Simran Khare

Blend Of Abstract Artworks And Soothing Zen Blue Colour Tones | The Melange Studio

As one enters, a striking suspended beaded statement ceiling light, a whimsical touch, marks the beginning of this narrative. This entrance opens to a spacious living and dining area that is the heart of the house. It invites family members to congregate, interact, and cross paths, reinforcing their bonds.

The living space, instead of adhering to a conventional layout, features a single-piece setting that defines the room. Monotone shades are harmonized with hints of antique brass, creating a sense of opulence.

The entire design scheme resonates with a consistent material palette that includes Panda white marble, walnut wood, and custom-made lighting. Notably, the client’s desire to showcase their decor and treasured pieces led to the creation of a custom shelving system, seamlessly integrated alongside the television.

In an artful twist, zig-zag folded metal shutters with concealed handles adorn the storage unit below the TV, redefining the role of storage as an artistic element.

The minimalist modern kitchen and utility areas follow a functional approach, selecting materials that blend seamlessly with the overarching design philosophy.

In keeping with the family’s individuality, each bedroom exhibits a distinct character while adhering to the repetitive material palette, ensuring a unified look and feel throughout the space.

Cirque House tells a compelling tale of a modern family, where luxury is discovered in the ordinary, and diverse personalities coexist harmoniously within a captivating interior landscape. It’s a testament to the beauty of life’s unique moments shared within the comfort of a well-designed home.
