Nestled in the serene Chitrakutir Kalagram near Pen, SAGA stands as an inspiring artists’ home and studio. The Concept: Inside-Out Harmony

The core idea of SAGA is rooted in inside-out planning, where the boundary between interior and exterior spaces dissolves. Here, architecture and landscape coexist in perfect synergy.

The earthy tones of the exposed brickwork, set against a lush green backdrop, create a welcoming warmth that resonates deeply with anyone who steps into the space. It’s a design that not only shelters but also tells a story—an architectural saga, quite literally.

    Experiential Design on Levels

Built on a sloping terrain, SAGA takes full advantage of the contours to offer a multi-level experience. Walking through its spaces feels like embarking on a journey, with each level unfolding new stories and views. This thoughtful layering enhances the sense of connectivity, making every step a delightful discovery.

A Fusion of Textures and Emotions

The exposed brickwork lends the structure a raw, authentic charm, while sustainable materials amplify its eco-conscious ethos.

    The Veranda: A Social Nucleus

One of SAGA’s standout features is its beautifully designed veranda. This inviting space is more than just a transitional area; it’s a hub for social interaction.

Whether for long, thought-provoking discussions, relaxed hangouts, or impromptu music sessions, the veranda becomes a stage for human connection.

    A Sustainable Story

By using sustainable materials and integrating the old with the new, SAGA champions an eco-friendly approach to design.

The exposed brickwork and earthy aesthetics not only reduce the environmental footprint but also give the building a timeless quality. It’s a space that feels grounded yet allows individuals to project their own stories onto it.

True to its name, SAGA is an architectural loop where every corner tells a story. It’s a place that invites exploration, sparks imagination, and fosters a profound connection between people, art, and nature.

For the artist who lives and works here, and for every visitor who experiences it, SAGA is more than a building—it’s a living, breathing narrative of design and life in harmony.
