The cabinet in the foyer area is custom made which can be utilized for storage and to display the prized possessions by the owner, hinting at what lies within the home. Completing the whole setting with simplicity and elegance is the gorgeous gold tinted base crystal chandelier.

The living area has two sections, one with formal seating and the other with a dining and breakfast counter. One of the structural changes we made was to eliminate the wall between the hall and the kitchen area. Thus, the planning is done in such a way that the spaces are free-flowing right from the foyer to the living, dining, and kitchen area without any walls or partitions giving it a seamless feel. A small breakfast counter overlooks the kitchen area visually connecting yet separate from the living space.

Right on the threshold, you are welcomed with a grand entrance door that leads to the foyer area which in turn opens up into the spacious living cum dining space. The foyer area houses decorative beveled bronze mirror paneling, which adds a touch of luxury while also reflecting light and expanding the view of the space.

On one side of the living area, the home theatre and pooja room door flush seamlessly with the long-stretched veneer wall paneling, with a white PU console table seated in front of it and a life-size painting placed just above it, adding the right charm and unusual simplicity to the entire space. The artwork blends in beautifully with the interiors – without appearing alienated and stands out as natural brush strokes and human imperfections.

The home theatre is all about music, movies, dime lights, & nicely done acoustics. It is the main highlight of the apartment where people can relax, rejuvenate and appreciate spending time with family and friends.

The major part of the structural changes was done to make the kitchen look bigger and more spacious. We eliminated a few walls and shifted the utility and storage area at the back. Also, as the apartment has a lake view on one side, the client wanted to have a lake view from the kitchen while cooking, to cater to that requirement, we shifted the hob facing the wall earlier to the window with a lake view.

With neutral walls and a warm teak veneer, the entrance sets the tone for the rest of the house. The neutral palette acts as a backdrop to the delicate pastel soft furnishings, with a hint of gold in the detailing, making it look regal & elegant. The intent was to have a minimal and contemporary design that is soothing to the eyes.

The other three rooms have muted color palettes of off-whites and beige to create a pleasant and relaxed feel in each bedroom. The design draws attention to various accents from cozy corner ledge seating in two of the bedrooms overlooking the lush greenery and lake outside to comfortable lounge chairs in the master bedroom.

For the master bedroom elegance, we kept a minimal modern design using a combination of veneer and fluted teak wooden paneling. To balance this out we did moldings on the wall along with the decorative lights and off-white tufted headboard. Thus, creating a perfect backdrop behind the bed.

The details on the wall, contemporary furnishings, statement artwork, ambient lighting, & metallic golden fittings add just the right amount of charm and subtleness to the space. Thus, a simple color palette, clean lines, and a combination of different materials can create an inviting and comforting space.
