The morning glory color is inspired by the Asian paint shade that is used in the entire residence. The aim of the residence was to make a timeless classic welcoming home. The layout is quite open-concept with gentle transitions between rooms promoting a sense of calm and ease at the same time we have incorporated a palette that makes the room interconnected and cohesive. The upholstery used is all muted and subtle and makes the space quite soft, and bright yet warm and welcoming.
Editor’s Note: “This residence embodies a seamless blend of understated luxury and timelessness, giving a new definition to the ‘Morning Glory’ palette. Charvi Mehta Design Studio has exquisitely mixed functionality and elegance, creating a combination of space that is warm and inviting. Thoughtful design details from customized furniture to curated artifacts create an aura of sophistication and calm.” ~ Anusha Sridhar

The large windows are the key feature adding to the vastness of the home. We have tried and kept the space very clean, modern and classic with simple and elegant furniture but added interesting decorative lights and artefacts to add the warmth reflecting the client’s personality.
The foyer entrance has a subtle wallpaper that sets a welcoming tone. A thoughtfully placed mirror frame with an elegant design on the wall serves a dual purpose of aesthetic appeal while cleverly concealing the main electrical distribution board. Adding to the inviting ambiance, a console table holds a charming plant vase, creating a focal point that effortlessly draws attention as you step in.
The living and dining area beautifully balances minimalism with refined details. The open layout showcases intriguing furniture pieces. A boucle tapestry and an onyx-finished dining table top elevate the space, making it ideal for hosting guests. Mirror panel on the sofa wall enhances the room’s depth, creating an illusion of greater length and openness.
Playful touches like 3D artwork on the dining console and curated artifacts infuse the space with character and energy. Full-length curtains further accentuate the room’s height, adding a sense of grandeur and elegance.
The cozy den serves as the perfect space for family movie nights. Classic mouldings on the walls and wardrobe lend the room a timeless elegance.
A full-height bookshelf, thoughtfully curated, reflects the client’s love for reading, adding both functionality and charm to the space.
The master bedroom is full of natural light, creating a bright and lively ambiance throughout the day. A striking chandelier serves as the focal point, beautifully complemented by elegant wallpaper and gold T-patti detailing that enhance the room’s sophistication.
The carefully selected materials contribute to the soft and soothing aesthetic, making the space both inviting and serene.
The bedrooms are envisioned as a sanctuary, a personal retreat where comfort meets timeless design. Every element of the space has been curated to evoke tranquility while reflecting a sophisticated aesthetic.
Soft, muted tones dominate the palette, creating a calming atmosphere conducive to relaxation. Storage solutions are seamlessly integrated into the design, ensuring the space remains uncluttered and functional.
