The 1800sft House of Zest is a modern 3BHK residence which has been designed for a young family. This residence was transformed keeping in mind their lifestyle and taste. The design has been conceptualised being mindful of the energy and vibrancy that we want to bring indoors but at the same time having a space which invites a sense of calmness. Different textures and patterns have been layered across the house to evoke emotions and give each space its unique character while holding on the concept of tying energy and calmness in an unbreakable bond throughout the house. The end-result was a mindful design exuding vibrancy and plush taste with an equal sense of calmness.

The house has made smart utilisation of negative space to let the essential elements of design stand out. The most dominant in character of the house is the room for their 3- year-old daughter which has been made for a child but also keeps in mind the ever-changing personality of a child as she grows to become a talented girl. We didn’t want her to be stuck with a bunch of cartoons for her growing years. We wanted that the room should be able to have different interpretations as the child matures. A special care was taken to make the child’s room gender neutral to break the convention of the pink and blue mentality.
The space opens up into a connected Living and Dining area which are bound together by a common Marmo Antico textured feature wall done by Sirca paints.
The Living room seating has a beautiful timeless pairing of grey and blush pink fabrics. The teak of the coffee tables and the TV unit stands out in this room and charges the room with a natural energy.Placed in an aperture, the mirror-faced dark pine wooden buffet table makes a sculptural addition to the space.
The six-seater, beige marble top and wooden base dining table is paired exquisitely with blush-hued upholstered dining chairs.
The wall forms a subtle background to the exquisite wall lights and a gold finish wall clock to highlight the space.
The Kitchen is a homogenous part of a home. Daylight streaming across the glazed window illuminates the gallery kitchen.
The white and dark beige color scheme whirl in the kitchen with the matte grey subway tiles stacked in the backsplash.
The master bedroom has a palpable homey sense which elevates the look and feel of the room. The wall is finished with a texture which brings movement to the static walls as it interacts with the daylight streaming in the room across the clock.
The bed with a soft golden hue with contrasting nightstands with a mirror amplifies the space’s volume. The resting corner is created by placing the couch with an enchanting medallion pattern and an engaging artwork on the wall.
The guest bedroom is bathed in neutrals, greys, textures where hints of wood, metal and greenery is seamlessly blended. The bedroom anchors a resting space against the grey pu finished headboard which has grooves detailing.
The feature wall with beautiful Acrisyl Decora is segregated by natural wood beading detail, the top half of the wall is finished in texture with subtle grooves detailing.
The gold and white globe pendant lights hang splendidly against the textured wall paired with black framed sleek mirror. The teak wood armchairs create another dreamy resting corner along with the fanning greens.
The three-year-old’s bedroom is engulfed in tropical theme, a joyful space for the youngest member in the family. The tropical Enid wallpaper by kalakaari haath has been paired with the complementing green stripes wallpaper from Asian Paints Nilaya collection to make the room feel warmer but taller.
Another centerpiece of this room is the teak wooden framed hut bed which acts as a low height sitting for the kid to play or just sleep in and a palm which dominates the corner of the room.
The House of Zest is an art in itself, it is designed in such a manner keeping in mind not only the aesthetics but also the functionality of the everyday tasks in a house

This home is envisioned as a quiet dialogue between space and stillness, where the in-between becomes as meaningful as the built. Every element is guided by the philosophy of restraint: not to fill space, but to shape experience. It’s a home designed to breathe, to hold pause, and to allow the rhythms of family life […]
For architect duo Rakshanda Moog and Dev Thakkar of Den Studio, designing their first home (and debut interior project) came together the way most meaningful things do. Gradually and instinctively. “We started with minimalism,” they say, “but somewhere along the way, the house asked for more character.” Perched on an upper floor with unobstructed views […]

From the very first glimpse, this home makes a quiet yet assertive statement — a story of considered elegance woven through the interplay of textures, geometry, and an emotive material palette. It isn’t just a residence, but a journey of values, and a deliberate pause from the chaos of urbanity. A poetic 4 bedroom design […]
Referred by his cousin, who initially approached us for a large residential bungalow, Dilip Jain sought our expertise for his newly purchased 4 BHK luxury apartment in Akota. While the builder had completed the civil work for the kitchen and bathrooms, the client was unsatisfied with the final results. We took the initiative to transform […]
The Wabi Sabi Interior design of this residence was done in 71 days, including designing & execution. Contrary to our standard practice of a step-by-step design process, the process here was pretty fluid & more based on intuitions, visualizations, sketches & discussions. Only sketches were made, which proceeded to working drawings; no 3D visualization was […]

Imagine this for a design brief: Design an apartment for 3 generations.
