A Colonial House Nestled Along The Enchanting Thoroughfare Of Ivy Lane | Furbishy
It boasts a symphony of architectural marvels and an exquisite interplay of antique elements that capture the timeless elegance.
As you enter, you are greeted by arched passageways. It creates an ethereal play of light and shadow, an architectural symphony that mesmerizes the senses.
The interiors, adorned with antique elements at every turn, showcase a meticulous curation that pays homage to the villa’s heritage.
Upon crossing the threshold, you are greeted by a breathtaking vista of arched passageways that create an ethereal play of light and shadow, an architectural symphony that mesmerizes the senses.
The living spaces boast soaring ceilings adorned with intricate arches that evoke a sense of grandeur, while antique furnishings and artifacts lend an air of refined opulence.
Sunlight streams through arched windows, casting a gentle glow upon the meticulously selected pieces that adorn the rooms, each telling a story of its own.
The bedroom spaces each had their own personality with respect to the inhabitants to whom each space belonged to.
Some had a plush tone of beige with wooden hints and statement ceilings, some had hints of rattan against subtle hues of muted tones
Each room tells its unique story, epitomized by the wicker wardrobes—a subtle yet deliberate choice. We employed oak predominantly, orchestrating subtle contrasts and infusing gentle pops of color to complement rather than challenge the client’s brief, ultimately achieving a harmonious balance.
The patio that took the cake in this project is one of our favourite spaces as its that perfect blend of calming yet fun lively space, with a textured stone wall, black metal lattice work and pops of bougainvillea!
This project has been a journey of discovery, blending vintage sentiment with modern functionality, and overcoming unforeseen challenges to create a space that resonates with the client’s treasured memories while embracing contemporary comfort.
