In the bustling heart of Ahmedabad lies a hidden gem – a sprawling 4 bedroom house nestled on a surprisingly compact plot of 160 square yards (1440 sq. ft.) in Sarkhej. This architectural marvel, brought to life by the visionary team at Harikrushna Pattani & Associates, defies limitations by maximizing space, light, and functionality.
A 4 Bedroom House Design is set on a Limited Footprint | Harikrushna Pattani and Associates
Fitting a 4-bedroom bungalow with a dedicated drawing room, dining area, kitchen, and even a car park within a limited footprint is no easy feat. However, Harikrushna Pattani & Associates rose to the challenge with their innovative space planning.
By meticulously optimizing the available area and incorporating clever design elements, they crafted a home that feels significantly larger than its actual size.
Extensive advance design and detailed preparation minimized the need for on-site changes, further expediting construction. Regular site visits and open communication ensured that the project stayed on track and met the ambitious one-year deadline.
One additional hurdle the architects faced was the presence of a common wall on the eastern side, restricting the flow of natural light from that direction.
This, however, wasn’t a deterrent. Through clever window placement and strategic use of light wells, they ensured all rooms were well-lit and well-ventilated.
Stepping inside, the soothing interiors offer a haven of timeless comfort. The architects incorporated long-lasting wooden touches throughout the house, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that fosters relaxation and rejuvenation.
Imagine waking up to the gentle morning sun streaming through cleverly positioned windows, even in rooms that wouldn’t normally receive eastern light.
The design goes beyond just addressing space constraints. It fosters a sense of connection and openness throughout the home.
The architects introduced a breathtaking triple-height cutout strategically positioned above the dining area. This innovative feature not only allows natural light to cascade down, illuminating even the deepest corners, but also creates a visual and auditory connection between all three floors.
Picture enjoying a family meal while feeling a warm sense of togetherness with loved ones relaxing on the floor above.
The bungalow’s visual appeal is equally captivating. The exterior boasts a series of stunning stepped balconies, adding a touch of modern elegance and providing additional usable space.
The project’s success story extends beyond its impressive design. Harikrushna Pattani & Associates ensured a smooth and efficient construction process, completing the entire project, from design conception to handover, within a remarkable one year.
This feat was achieved through meticulous planning and close collaboration. Timely coordination between the architects, clients, and the construction crew streamlined the workflow.
The Sarkhej Gem stands as a testament to the transformative power of thoughtful design. It demonstrates how architects can overcome spatial limitations and create a home that offers a sense of spaciousness, ample natural light, and a strong sense of connection – all within a compact footprint.
This project serves as a beacon of inspiration for homeowners in Ahmedabad and beyond, proving that a dream home doesn’t require a sprawling plot to become a reality.
