This Sales Office In Mumbai Is A Spatial Reflection Of A Modern Vision | Vikas Bhujbal Design
A double-height reception volume defines the arrival sequence and establishes a sense of an open and permanent space. A staircase acts as the central element that visually and physically connects both floors while adding movement within the otherwise composed material palette.
Natural stone floors anchor the space, while dark wood finishes, metal detail, and curated art installations lend warmth and character to the corporate setting. Informal lounge clusters soften the scale of the reception, creating a hospitality-driven environment for clients.
The design organizes the ground floor primarily as a client-facing and leadership zone, housing formal meeting rooms, director cabins, and presentation spaces. The plan allows smooth access from reception while keeping privacy and controlled movement.
The first floor transitions into a more collaborative operational workspace. Open workstations are arranged in the centre to encourage interaction and team efficiency, while manager cabins and department rooms are placed along the edges for acoustic separation and visual oversight.
Glass partitions are used strategically to enhance transparency and natural light penetration without compromising functionality.
Clear zoning between public, semi-private, and private areas ensure intuitive movement throughout the office. The integration of greenery and natural materials introduces balance to the architectural rigor, reinforcing a contemporary yet grounded corporate environment.
The design ultimately expresses stability, aspiration, and clarity — translating the brand’s ethos into a workplace that is both architecturally expressive and operationally efficient.
