The house sits on a long, linear plot, and it’s architecture responds with an equally linear axis that guides the eye from end to end. A continuous roofline along the ground floor, ties the entire elevation together. “The two-storey structure on the left contrasts this grounded horizontality and introduces vertical emphasis.”

A series of gabled roof projections break the facade rhythmically, adding depth while highlighting key zones such as the entrance and main living areas. Generous roof overhangs are provided for a tropical context and the demands of themonsoon – provide shade, reduce heat gain, and protects the home from heavy rains.
The design uses a palette grounded in nature – exposed brick, mutedgreys, cobblestone paving and warm roof and ceiling tiles. Earthy textures that let the architecture blend quietly into its landscape. Most of the furniture is custom- made and crafted in teak by Formave and local carpenters.
The main door opens directly to view the landscaped backyard, creating a seamless visual connection and a sense of green continuity throughout.
The spatial layout is kept intuitive and open, with living, dining and kitchen areas flowing seamlessly into one another, allowing light and ventilation to move freely across the home. Windows are intentionally proportioned to maximize cross- ventilation and natural light.
This is a spacious hall that opens Into a long verandah overlooking the backyard. Designed to frame the lush greenery, it serves as a welcoming public zone where guests can enjoy the landscap.
Following and open concept layout that flows effortlessly into the adjoining spaces, yet it can be enclosed witha sliding door when needed.
Custom made teak wood shutters bringwarmth to the space while the matching quartz countertop and backsplash create a seamless, minimal look – clutter free, refinedandeasy to maintain.
A cozy family retreat that doubles as the TV room. With its bay window and exposed concrete finishes, the space carries a warm, moody charm – perfect for lazy lounging, quiet reading and everyday hangouts.
The 4 bedrooms are warm and cozy, with ample storage space and large windows that frame the surrounding landscape while bringing in natural light and good ventilation.
With openings on 3 sides, the east facing terrace frames panaromic views of the landscape and lush trees around it.
