A blissful way of living here, in this home for a month or two. “Give us a place that’s cozy, warm, and complete with all the necessities — simple to enjoy, easy to maintain.” This was the guiding thought behind the creation of this holiday house: a retreat designed for a family to unwind, reconnect, and find balance between leisure and work. Whether it’s a staycation, a quiet family getaway, or a base for connecting with their US-based team, this home offers a haven where comfort meets function.
This Holiday House Is Cosy And Warm Balance Between Leisure And Work | Simplécede
Styled in a soft California-casual contemporary language, the holiday house flows with a quiet consistency. Wooden furniture, celebrated in its natural glory, grounds the space in warmth, texture, and ease.
The living area exudes a curvaceous charm, softly rounded seating and gently sculpted walls taper into organic niches, creating a harmonious flow that feels both soothing and alive.
At the heart of the home lies the kitchen, accessed through a graceful curved entry. Its timeless palette and quartz backsplash bring together durability and elegance, making it both inviting and effortless to maintain.
Each bedroom continues the home’s cohesive design language with veneer headboards and wardrobes, maintaining simplicity and tactility.
Bedroom 1 features a thoughtful detail — a slim pocket ledge beside the bed, perfect for keeping a current read within reach. Opposite, a dresser-cum-study unit with a fluted panel backdrop merges practicality with refined detailing.
Bedroom 2 carries a distinctive rhythm through grooved patterns across the headboard and wardrobe — a space that adapts beautifully through every season. (Our favorite? Autumn.)
Bedroom 3, the primary suite, balances rustic charm and elegance, with a soft grey textured finish above the headboard creating an understated focal point.
The home office, framed by a bay window, lends a cozy spring-like vibe, a serene nook for inspiration or quiet reflection
An ode to being Lost in the Woods, yet always alive in the heart, this home is a celebration of calm living, timeless design, and effortless comfort.
