    Living Space

The living and dining area draws directly from the essence of the traditional wada courtyard the heart of community gatherings. Here, the dining zone is designed as the central anchor, marked by four stately pillars.

Above, a stained-glass skylight detail pays homage to courtyard openings, while brackets and traditional baithak-style seating add layers of authenticity.

    Kitchen

The kitchen continues this traditional narrative with patterned carpet tiles framed by wooden border tiles, bringing warmth and charm. Ivory cabinetry maintains a modern balance, while a copper-tiled arched niche becomes a striking focal point to showcase cherished heirlooms and artifacts.

    Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is envisioned as a serene retreat. A traditionally framed window becomes the highlight, symbolically connecting the space to the living area while offering a glimpse into heritage. With its calm palette and restrained details, the room embodies understated elegance rooted in Maharashtrian tradition.

    Childrens Bedroom

In contrast, the children’s bedrooms bring a contemporary twist. The son’s room takes on an industrial-inspired theme blending raw textures, sleek lines, and smart storage for a stylish yet practical space that adapts to different stages of life.

The daughter’s room softens the narrative with a chic white-and dusty pink palette and pastel rose gold accents.

    Conclusion

Together, Aangan celebrates a cultural design philosophy that honors culture while embracing modern aspirations creating a home that feels timeless, grounded, and deeply personal.
