The 36th Horizon offers a sweeping view of Mumbai’s ever-evolving skyline from its position as a mindful high-rise retreat perched on the 36th floor. Framing the chaos of the city in soft silence, this home covered in pastel colors strikes a delicate balance where urban energy stays outside, and a warm, grounded calmness thrives within.
Pastel Colors Add A Grounded Calmness In This Mumbai Home | TS Design Works
Crafted for a family rooted in the textile industry, the interiors bathed in pastel colors tell a story of both personal heritage and contemporary grace. Spatially, the layout emphasizes openness and breathability. The living and dining zones are interconnected, bathed in daylight, and furnished with pieces that speak the language of quiet elegance. Bespoke furniture choices and subtle details are designed to serve without shouting, creating a composed and harmonious flow.
Throughout the home, an earthy palette of warm neutrals, natural textures, and soft lighting helps create a soothing visual rhythm. Gentle tones of sand, beige, and wood wrap the spaces in comfort, while large windows frame the drama of the city beyond, turning each glance outward into a moment of reflection.
The kitchen and bathrooms follow suit, integrating form and function with seamless detail. The kitchen, with its sleek finishes and grounded material palette, is both highly efficient and emotionally warm, a place of daily ritual and quiet nourishment.
“The master bedroom lies at the heart of the home, serving as a refined sanctuary where design and memory intertwine.” A printed textile headboard anchors the space with artistic softness, while a beautiful wall tapestry and jute-clad wardrobes echo the owner’s deep connection to fabric and craftsmanship. These tactile elements are not mere decoration, but a tribute to the couple’s shared legacy in textiles bringing identity and intimacy into the everyday experience of living.
The daughter’s room is youthful yet serene designed as a space that nurtures her evolving sense of self. Soft materials, warm wood tones, and intuitive storage come together to form a room that is both comforting and adaptable.
It reflects a delicate balance of playfulness and calm, designed with the same restraint and warmth seen throughout the home.
What defines the 36th Horizon is not just its physical elevation, but its emotional altitude. It is a home that listens before it speaks a quiet observer of the city it hovers above. Rooted in authenticity and shaped by the family’s story, it offers more than aesthetics. It offers belonging.
Here, at the meeting point of skyline and stillness, a new kind of luxury emerges—intimate, soulful, and enduring
