Neutral Colors And Expressive Art Are Celebrated In This Raipur Home | Studio Basera

“A Palette of Dreams” is a bold and playful modern interior that transforms everyday living into an artistic experience. Defined by sculptural furniture, neutral colors, and whimsical accents, the home balances sophistication with joy. From the pink library wall to the tactile bedrooms and art-like objects, each space is curated as both functional and expressive. It celebrates individuality and creativity in contemporary design.

Every corner carries personality. The bold library wall turns reading into ritual. The tactile bedrooms balance serenity with individuality, and the playful accents introduce humour and humanity into the composition.

What emerges is a home that celebrates creativity as a way of living. It is a sanctuary that offers warmth, yet also a stage for self-expression. It demonstrates how design can move beyond function, becoming a poetic language that captures joy, imagination, and identity.

“A Palette of Dreams” is not just a project, it is a reminder that the spaces we inhabit shape the stories we tell and the lives we lead.

Neutral Colors And Expressive Art Are Celebrated In This Raipur Home | Studio Basera

Living Room

The living room unfolds as a harmonious dialogue between sculptural furniture, curated art, and soft whimsy. The designer created this space, drenched in neutral colors, as a canvas of comfort and playfulness. Here form and function merge seamlessly. It exemplifies the project’s philosophy by celebrating everyday living through bold design gestures, tactile comforts, and layers of narrative that make a house feel deeply personal.

A gallery wall featuring family photographs injects intimacy and storytelling. The library is more than a collection of books—it is a space of pause, reflection, and curiosity. Together, these elements transform the living room into more than just a gathering area. It becomes a visual and emotional experience.

The Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is envisioned as a sanctuary of calm, designed with tactile warmth and layered intimacy. It is a space where quiet luxury meets everyday rituals, blending function and storytelling in subtle yet expressive ways. A palette of soft creams, muted browns, and warm neutrals continues across the bedding, enveloping the space in serenity. Behind it, a transparent glass partition creates a sense of openness while also revealing one of the room’s most thoughtful features, the study nook.

Tucked behind the glass, the study table forms a quiet alcove for focus and creativity. Bathed in natural light, it is designed as both a retreat within a retreat and a reminder that restful spaces can also inspire productivity.

The vertical shelving, adorned with books and curated decor, frames the study area, while the glass separation ensures a visual connection to the bedroom without compromising intimacy. The backdrop of dried pampas and grasses adds a poetic softness, bridging the transition between the restful and the purposeful.

The Second Bedroom

The second bedroom unfolds as an interplay of geometry, texture, and repose, an atmosphere that is at once bold.  Anchored by a neutral colors palette, the space celebrates material tactility and sculptural accents while offering a deeply personal retreat. The wall behind the bed becomes a statement in itself, a grid of three-dimensional panels that catch the light and cast subtle shadows, adding depth and rhythm.

Against this backdrop, the bed, upholstered in sleek black leather, offers a striking contrast to the soft grey textiles layered across it. A burnt-orange lounge chair injects warmth and vibrancy, breaking the monochrome with an inviting gesture, while verdant plants punctuate the palette with freshness. Sheer curtains filter daylight, softening the strong architectural lines and creating a cocoon-like calm. Every detail here is intentional, from the monochrome pendant lights that hover like suspended orbs to the sculptural accents displayed on the console, blurring the line between functional furniture and curated art.

Wellness Area

This bedroom and its adjoining wellness area embody the essence of A Palette of Dreams: a sanctuary where bold forms coexist with softness, and where living is elevated into an experience of artful calm. The spatial flow transitions seamlessly into the private wellness zone, where the terrazzo-clad sunken tub becomes the hero. Elevated on steps, it overlooks the cityscape through large windows, marrying indulgence with openness. The cool stone surfaces are balanced by robes, greenery, and daylight, turning routine bathing into ritual
