Step into this 4,000-square-foot residence in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and a sense of grandeur immediately takes hold. Designed by celebrated interior designer and restoration artist Pooja Gupta of I Design Studios, the home is a masterful blend of Victorian elegance and Indian heritage.
The journey begins at the grand entrance. Here, an ornately carved wooden door, framed by intricate archways, offers a glimpse into the world within. The moment one crosses the threshold, the air is imbued with warmth and sophistication, setting the stage for what lies ahead.
As you move deeper into the home, the living area unfolds in a breathtaking display of grandeur. Majestic chandeliers, suspended from elaborately detailed ceilings, cast a golden glow across the space. Meanwhile, this warm light illuminates rich tapestries and antique wooden accents.
Every furnishing, from plush seating arrangements to intricately carved coffee tables, has been meticulously chosen. Moreover, each piece reinforces the home’s regal narrative.
The walls, adorned with hand-painted murals and antique curios, echo stories of a bygone era while seamlessly fitting into the modern fabric of the home.
