Who said neutrals are boring? This luxury house interior, designed by Design Studio Associates, proves that neutrals are, in fact, the new symbol of luxury house interior. Using neutrals as your color palette makes the whole design look and feel luxurious. But you need to choose the right materials, the right shade, and absolutely the right textures to pull it off. And I think we have done that successfully with this apartment,” says Ar. Ruchir Sheth, Principal Architect and Founder of Design Studio Associates.
This Luxury House Interior Proves Subtle Tones Radiate Elegance | Design Studio Associates
The living room is a cozy den of grey sofas and marble nesting tables. The backdrop of the pearl-white textured wall adds quirkiness to the design.
The TV wall is kept simple with paneling and a TV console table that matches it. Another highlight of the room is the gorgeous tulip chandelier. Even with the lights off, it gives a feel of opulence to the space.
The French windows are adorned with off-white curtains that run full-length, contributing to yet another texture in the room.
The dining table is made of beautiful white stone, and the chairs are cream. Moreover, they not only look luxurious but are also very comfy.
The awe-inspiring waterfall chandelier complements the decadent backdrop of paneled wall framing a charming wallpaper and floral art piece.
The kitchen plays in the same theme as the dining room. Thus, making it an extension of the space. The modular cream cabinets offer ample storage, while the kitchen peninsula of a breakfast bar makes it look chic.
The backsplash and the countertop in a light brown shade not only make the space attractive but are also a practical solution to avoiding kitchen stains.
With a quilted headboard and a paneled wall interlaced with a soft white velvet, the bed becomes the focal point of this bedroom.
The golden accents on the side tables, the natural texture of the veneered wood, and the abstract painting bring a little bit of spark to the design.
A fully upholstered bed draws our attention to the layered wall, comprising the headboard, an Italian marble, and a wooden-finished wall. Thus, giving the headboard a life-sized feel.
The mirrored closet, the TV unit, and the bedside tables are all accented in a soft gold finish hardware. The veneered false ceiling houses a brilliant chandelier that gives a soft ambience to the room.
The creamy floor-to-ceiling curtains and the textured wall behind the TV unit complement each other perfectly.
This room is bathed in whites. The 3D-paneled backdrop of the wall, the wardrobe, the nightstands, as well as the walls, are all a beautiful pearl white. The combination of soft rustic veneered wood with the white and soft beiges makes the space come alive.
“As they say—‘less is more’ when it comes to style and elegance. So we decided to use fewer colors and play with textures to bring about and highlight the natural beauty of the space and the materials. It was definitely one of the most rewarding projects we have undertaken—with the outcome being as beautiful as our design plans,” concludes interior designer Krupal Sheth of Design Associates.
