The design of this Delhi house harmoniously combines classical elements with sleek, contemporary finishes, imbuing the home with enduring charm and sophistication.
When talking about spatial planning, the linear floor plan enhances openness and connectivity, featuring informal double-height pockets that add visual interest and create intimate spaces.
The primary passage, with sliding doors replacing traditional walls, opens up to the dining and drawing rooms, blurring spatial boundaries and fostering family interaction. This innovative approach integrates different living areas seamlessly.
Upon entering this residence, one is greeted by spacious living rooms with garden views, setting a tone of elegance and tranquillity.
A grand foyer leads to formal living areas adorned with luxurious furnishings and bespoke chandeliers that complement the muted tones of the interior palette.
The well-appointed kitchen and ground-floor dining space, featuring state-of-the-art appliances and modern utilities, are designed for both functionality and aesthetic appeal, ideal for hosting intimate gatherings or family meals.
The bar room, characterised by warm wood tones, opulent upholstery, and a state-of-the-art bar, offers a sophisticated retreat. Designed to stand apart from the rest of the home, this space provides a welcome break from everyday living while maintaining an overarching cohesive design.
Upstairs, on the first floor, the master suite exemplifies luxury with its en-suite bathroom and private balcony overlooking meticulously landscaped gardens.
Notable features include a grand piano in an open informal pocket. Furthermore, it adds a touch of sophistication and resonates throughout the home with its auditory ambience.
The family living room on the first floor mimics a glass conservatory with its glass ceiling, and natural light. Surrounded by lead and crystal artifacts, it takes on a delicate, luminescent quality both day and night.
Meticulously curated with handpicked paintings and artefacts, each room enhances individuality while contributing to a cohesive design aesthetic. The art adds character and colour, with variations in size, design, colour, and pattern that enhance the overall elegance and timelessness of the space.
The entryway features a staircase adorned with gold accents and classic chequered marble floors. Additionally, reflecting the villa’s sophisticated style and attention to detail.
Completed within an impressive 11-month timeline, the project highlights efficient collaboration among stakeholders. Carefully curated gardens and cobblestone pathways at the front and back enhance the villa’s seamless indoor-outdoor connection. It also provides serene pathways for strolls and tranquil spots for relaxation.
Balconies attached to various rooms offer additional opportunities to enjoy the surrounding greenery. Furthermore, it integrates the villa into its natural environment, enhancing occupant comfort.
The home epitomizes sophisticated design and exceptional craftsmanship. Furthermore, it seamlessly blend classical and modern elements into a sanctuary of peace and refinement in urban Delhi.
