Elev8 Select — a vibrant architecture and interior design event, an initiative by The Architects Diary and powered by Welspun Flooring took place on 23rd August 2024 at Taj Yeshwantpur in Bangalore. Over 200+ Architects and Interior Designers attended this illustrious event which highlighted the theme Beyond the Trends – A Timeless Approach to Design. The event witnessed a powerful Keynote Address by Prof. Krishna Rao Jaisim, the founder of Jaisim Fountainhead. This was followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion between industry leaders.
The event featured a compelling keynote address by Prof. Krishna Rao Jaisim, founder of Jaisim Fountainhead, who captivated the audience with insights into the multifaceted nature of architecture. He shared his remarkable journey—from the early days of his career to the pivotal experiences that have shaped his understanding of architecture. His address transcended traditional design boundaries. Thus, leaving attendees inspired by his rich experiences and unique perspective on the essence of architecture.
One of the highlights of the event was the panel discussion which tapped the residential aspect of architecture and design. The panel discussion – moderated by Deepa Suriyaprakash – Principal Architect at Between lines, included visionary architects like Chetan Shivprasad from Kham Designs, Swapnil Valvatkar from Collage Architecture Studio, Pramod Jaiswal from Between Spaces, George Ramapuram from Earthitects and Ritam Ray from Welspun Flooring.
The panel discussion was a melting pot of ideas that shed light on the timelessness of architecture. The visionaries discussed various perspectives on how spaces and designs balance aesthetics and functionality to achieve timelessness. The panel discussion explored how design shapes lives. Meanwhile, the panellists shared their experiences with architecture, design decisions and client understanding.

The illustrious display exhibit was a varied combination of thought-provoking designs, design philosophies and innovation.
