  • This Legal Office Design in Delhi Houses Generations of Libraries | Gunpreet Kaur Designs

M/s. Mehta & Co. solicitors, spanning 3 generations, assigned us this legal office design project to create the perfect ambience coupled with utility for their establishment. The project entailed the creation of space to house a generation of old libraries enshrined in a modern ambience of serving jurisprudence.

In the realm of interior design, the concept of using traditional practices with innovative ideas of modern technology involves great synchronization and adaptability. The age old legal practice coupled with modern developing techniques offered us immense opportunity to create an apt office design to foster trust and comfort. Let’s delve into different areas of its space in number 05.

    Entrance

The entrance to the office is bright and filled with earthy tones. Veneer wall panels with rippled cleaves on the walls demonstrate a clean and crispy gateway to the solicitor’s office christened “Mehta’s Co.”.

Our Origami chairs are placed in the waiting lounge along with a handcrafted fluted table with brass.

    Conference Room

The conference room houses burnt walk wooden herringbone flooring, with the teakwood conference table creating a cozy and warm ambience.

Furthermore, the color accent used in the space is sage, having detailed art work in gold to promote a perfect blend of color and vibrancy.

Also, we have installed customized equipment from Karban that serves as a fan, a purifier, and an accent light too.

    Personal Office

Each personal office has handcrafted furniture made to perfection with cane accents and veneer with matte polish, which makes this space look subtle, warm, and becoming. This room has a rippled desk with brushed brass detailing, and the book shelf takes care of the impressive collection of artifacts through Adv.

Anunaya Mehta’s travels and journals collected by him. Every room has a window that overlooks the lush greens of the green park area in New Delhi.

    Furniture

Sleek aluminum and glass partitions preserve the visual openness of the space, seamlessly integrating with its design. Additionally, wooden furniture and jute upholstery, typically found in a stylish residence, take center stage within a shell defined by textured walls and ceilings. This combination creates a cohesive and inviting atmosphere, blurring the lines between home and workspace.

This room is a haven of comfort and sophistication, where every detail has been thoughtfully curated to inspire creativity, boost productivity, and drive success. Adorning the walls, artwork seamlessly blends with Italian marble cladding, infusing the space with personality and refinement.

    Material Palette

We used natural materials, incorporating wooden veneer finishes and teak wood structures accented with brushed brass details. For the walls, we chose wallpapers from D.Decor and paint from Asian Paints, ensuring a refined and cohesive look. Additionally, we installed partitions from Green Windows, featuring double-wall glass that enhanced the soundproofing of the cabins. Furthermore, to improve sound insulation and fire resistance, we integrated glass wool within the wooden structures.

    Conclusion

An overall view of the whole project manifests an informidable challenge of blending the traditional needs of archaic practice with modern innovative architecture. However, through the collaborative efforts of a dedicated and spirited team, this challenge was met with success. Their talent was fully showcased in the remarkable transformation of a traditional office into a state-of-the-art, modern interior.
