A fuss-free, inspiring vibe is set within an efficient work office environment, serving 10 employees. The client, a communications company, required a flexible, efficient workspace spread across an 800-square-foot office floor. The concept behind the inspiring office was to work across open workstations, private cabins, and conference rooms for common meetings. One of the two director’s cabins, placed to capture natural light, features a design of clean lines and coordinated orthogonal geometries in its furniture and storage.
We also optimize the other private cabin for space and light, complementing it with a selection of blue and aquamarine artworks. The common open workspace consists of custom-designed modular workstations with ample built-in storage neatly tucked in. We made every design decision through conversation and collaboration, focusing on the client’s primary vision for their workspace.

Optimised, efficient, and energised—these were the key words that led to the evolution of a compact and fully functional design scheme. Various interactions in space-making led to a simple yet extremely versatile palette of greys and natural wood, which together create partitions, storage, and interesting backdrops. We peppered hints of fresh greens around the work area, adding much-needed vibrancy and life to the fast-paced work culture.
The overall design intent for the workspace lay in the multi-use or flexible use of space wherever possible, along with being future-friendly and expandable. All across the office, textural grey walls are a neutral yet wholesome backdrop for a bright, rust-orange couch or handpicked framed artwork.
The design process inherently began with a careful consideration of the usable space, natural light, and optimisation of storage and work surfaces. Beginning in the compact reception space, a conscious decision to allow in maximum natural light guides the eye forward.
A combination of vertical wooden strips and fluted glass creates a sense of verticality while also becoming an efficient visual barrier. At the entrance feature wall, the company’s logo shines boldly against a background of polished wooden strips.
