    Design Objective

The objective was to establish an inviting and warm home with plenty of thoughtful storage, ample natural light, and a strong connection between indoors and outdoors.

The main door adds a sense of rawness with a unique combination of grey-coloured cement finish laminate combination with fluted relwood. In the grill door, we have also provided an MS grill with a combination of fluted glass to get a semitransparent look through the grill door.

    Vestibule

The vestibule of the apartment sets the tone and gives visitors a glimpse of the design aesthetic of the rest of the home. It continues the same design theme of the door, featuring grey-coloured cement finish laminate in combination with teakwood patti and fluted relwood along with a functional and aesthetically pleasing sitting ledge.

    apartment foyer

Moreover, a laid-back and leisurely interior scheme gives this home a distinctive character and ambience. The colour palette of the common spaces of the home is tones of beige, rendered in both matte and glossy finishes.

    Beige Hues

The beige hues form the backbone of the design and add depth and warmth to the apartment. Additionally, the olive green Italian leather sofa calmly blends into this neutral colour palette in the drawing room, resulting in a timeless interior scheme.

    apartment foyer

The drawing room and dining area effortlessly transition into one another through an open-plan layout, subtly demarcated by interior features like glass partitions and furniture. Fluted relwood decorates the TV unit, highlighted with marble-finished Laminam tiles. The ceiling of the drawing room is, however, a combination of fluted relwood and grey cement spray texture.

Moving further, the neutral colour palette of this home seamlessly flows from the kitchen into the dining area, providing a visually soothing experience. We have also provided a dining console with a crockery unit on the side.

    Kitchen and Dining

The kitchen presents a clean and subtle design aesthetic with streamlined surfaces, minimalist cabinetry, and optimum functionality. It features light grey matte finish cabinetry with a white Corian countertop and a back-painted glass backsplash. Moreover, this space unfolds to reveal an interconnected living, dining, mandir area, and study area designed all in earthy hues with some contrast of materials highlighting the interior.

Moving further, the study area connects to the drawing room, featuring a minimal design highlighted by yellow back-painted glass combined with fluted relwood.

The mandir area is set to be minimal and serene. Moreover, the entry doors feature aluminum profile shutters combined with clear and fluted glass, highlighted with hanging bells.

    apartment foyer

A decorative bronze mirror clads the wall above the dining console, making the space feel larger. Additionally, an attached balcony beside the dining area is provided, decorated with artificial grass on the floor and natural plantations, keeping the user connected with nature.

    Bedroom Design

The master bedroom continues the soft palette through an MCM straw and veneer backdrop, complementing the dark beige leather headboards of the bed.

    apartment foyer

Fabric texture wallpaper in the ceiling tunes with the light beige back-painted glass wardrobe shutters. A small office nook is highlighted with fluted relwood which runs all the way up to the ceiling.

    Son’s Bedroom

The son’s bedroom, however, has an eclectic vibe with wooden-finished PVC panels in combination with stone veneer that extends from the wardrobe to the walls.

    apartment foyer

Neutral whites and muted hues offset the energetic greys. Moreover, the flooring is differentiated from wooden-finished vinyl flooring.

    apartment foyer

    Parent’s Bedroom

In the parents’ bedroom, tones of grey laminate with a backdrop of beige bricks complement the wardrobe’s beige colour profile shutters and grey upholstery of the bed.

    apartment foyer

Moreover, this is softened with rounded edges and subtle texturing.

    apartment foyer

    Children’s Room

The children’s bedroom is crafted to evoke a cosy and sophisticated ambience. Upon entering, attention draws to the finished fluted wall panelling in the bed backdrop. Dark beige bed upholstery gives contrast to the bed backdrop. Also, window seating is provided to chill and relax.

The guest bedroom features an earthy palette with a wardrobe made of veneer finish in combination with beige-back painted glass and veneer side tables. Thus, simplicity guides the home’s interiors, favouring clean lines and uncluttered spaces that allow the design to breathe.

    apartment foyer

Design that is timeless should feel both momentary and everlasting. It should seem effortlessly elegant and be able to balance practicality with style. This home with its welcoming apartment foyer is thus designed with the same design philosophy that practically reflects the satisfaction level of the client.
