In an exclusive conversation with Ar. Vipin Chauhan, he shares his design philosophy, ideologies and beliefs that have turned him into the architect that he is today.
Freedom to seek out the projects we most want to do. Also, the creative freedom to make the final decision on a design sounds like the ideal way to work.
Our most loved philosophy is the design starts from within, going outward and the details really affect the whole of the design!
For us the ‘concept’ is the essence of the design. It is what you feel when you close you eyes and think of your design. The words you use when describing your project intentions to your grandma.
Our design language evolved largely with advancements in technology, such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), parametric design software, and virtual reality.
Sustainability matters the most to us apart from integrity and collaboration. These values nurture trust and foster innovation, and instilling environmental consciousness in every project.
KRISHNAYAN (Mr Mattha) project presented a distinctive challenge, as our client sought a blend of modern and traditional elements. Embracing this vision, we integrated innovative design solutions, combining traditional art like pichwai (Rajasthan) with modern features such as a modular kitchen. The inclusion of natural stones further elevated the aesthetic appeal, achieving a harmonious fusion of old-world charm and contemporary style. This project showcases our dedication to creativity and adaptability in design. Thus, resulting in a space that effortlessly merges tradition with innovation.
One notable tool that springs to mind is computer-aided design (CAD) software. CAD has revolutionized the design process across diverse industries, ranging from architecture to product design.
We like to believe that our projects reshape people’s perceptions of built spaces because hey are functional, inclusive, and environmentally responsible.
I am into music. Additionally, reading enriches my life and inspires my design work in many aspects.
The most fulfilling aspect of interior design for me is witnessing the happiness and gratitude expressed by my clients, their loved ones, and friends. Establishing meaningful connections throughout the process is immensely satisfying!
Moving forward, I am dedicated to maintaining a lifelong commitment to learning, actively pursuing fresh experiences, an cultivate meaningful relationships!
Beyond the realm of professional accomplishment, I envision a legacy that encourages individuals to wholeheartedly pursue their passions, to fearlessly explore their creativity, and to consistently prioritize acts of giving back!
