The genesis of Beyond Cafe stems from the very essence of its surroundings – the sprawling lawn, a symbol of cultivated wilderness. Drawing inspiration from this, the layout mimics the sacred Grabha Griha, with its square chamber and tower, strategically positioned to face the east, mirroring the cafe’s entrance towards the lawn.
The glass façade blurs the lines between interior and exterior, enticing patrons into a multi-layered space that transcends the mundane.
Upon entering Beyond Cafe, patrons are greeted by a vibrant palette of blue, grey, and white, evoking a Spanish-Moroccan ambiance that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.
The central garbh griha, adorned with intricate Moroccan tiles, creates a mesmerizing focal point, reminiscent of a tranquil water body, amidst the bustling cafe environment.
The architectural marvel of Beyond Cafe extends skyward with its double-heighted space, designed akin to a shed structure with a false skylight window, adding to the illusion of openness and grandeur.
A tribute to history adorns one wall, showcasing utensils unearthed from the Mohenjo Daro civilization, bridging the gap between ancient civilizations and modern-day culinary indulgence.
