The use of raw & earthy materials such as exposed bricks, concrete & raw wood, combined with sleek & modern finishes resulted in a sophisticated, calm & inviting contrast.

The colour palette used throughout the project is very earthy with shades of Green, brown & with greys dominating the spaces. The lime plaster walls, combined with wood & bricks creates a perfect balance of warmth & freshness which one can’t move on with for a very long period of time.

The project’s aesthetic is raw , yet finished. We’ve tried to create a  luxury experience while still maintaining the raw attributes.

The furniture has been carefully customized with fabrics & finishes to deepen the desire of a warm , cozy & comfortable environment requested by the clients.

As the project is located in Ahmedabad which is renowned for its rich culture, heritage & for one of the best architecture in the city. We’ve tried to connect the material palette as a context for example the usage of exposed bricks & raw wood which one can easily find in most of the dominant structures of the city.

We’ve tried to keep the plan & the spaces very open and very much inter connected to each other . The flavour of all the spaces is similar yet very different in terms of colour palette and the materials used.

All the bedrooms are designed with brief conversations with each family member according to their needs, taste and useability. Like the master bedroom is modern & luxurious, the parents bedroom is classy & finished.

Also considering the weather & temperature conditions of the city, We’ve tried to maintain the openness and carefully thought about the light & ventilations of all the spaces. Use of lime as an insulation material is done in all the rooms & spaces.

This apartment will be treated as a temporary residence for a few years, yet we’ve tried to used as minimalistic elements as possible. The decor & the accents used are too customized and self designed with the use of concrete, wooden logs, & clay.
