    The Bricks Cube – A Modern Courtyard House With Bricks Key-Feature Hilighting Its Elevation. Our Project Is Located At Rural Parts Of Vidarbha Called Wadsa, Of Gadchiroli District, Maharashtra. The Clients Brief Was Only Of A Normal 3bhk Duplex Residence Initially, But Eventually One More Floor Was Added. Keeping The Weather Conditions In Mind, The Courtyard Took The Center-Stage And The Planning Was Done Accordingly.

    From Convencing The Clients For Courtyard And Exposed Brickwork To Changing The Tabboo Mindset Of The Typical Small Town People, The Bricks Cube Grew Up And Shaped Up A Beautiful Architectural Journey.

    The Planning On 1400 Sq.ft Plot Is Such That, The Ground Floor Consists Of An Entrance Foyer, A Drawing Area, An Open To Sky Courtyard, A Kitchen & Dining Area And Two Bedrooms One For Parents And The Otherone For Guests. Staircase Opposite To The Courtyard Leads To The Upper Floors.

    All The Floors Are Connected Through The Courtyard Which Helps To Set A Sort Of Dialouges Between The Spaces. The Courtyard Have Beautiful Fishpond Into It With The Center Space Occupied With A Green Indoor Tree. Whoever Seating In The Drawing Area Enjoys The Courtyard And The Soothing Music Of Water Flowing Through The Cascade.

    The First Floor Consists Of 2 Master Bedrooms With Their Separate Dressings And Toilets And A Family Area With An Attached Terrace Balcony To It. The Terrace Balcony Is Covered With A Beautiful Pargola. The Second Floor Is More Of Common Or We Can Call It As An Entertainment Floor.

    As We See The Elevation, We Can See Exposed Brickwork And The Terracotta Jalis Embossing The Major Part Of It With The Greys & Whites And The Pargola Covering The Terrace Making A Perfect Elevation To Be Looked At.
