Aesthetically Pleasing Open Spaces Designed Artistically In This Vastu Home | The Ad Effect

The square shape of the land allowed us to design places with few pathways and the gaps themselves served as circulation. Because the planning did not call for any partition walls to divide the spaces, we had aesthetically pleasing open spaces designed artistically in this vastu home. The first thing that one sees about the house is how open it is. The use of vastu shastra in the design process led to the placement of the master bedroom in the southwest, the Puja area in the north east, and the kitchen on the south-eastern face.

To prevent the service systems from obstructing the created form’s visible facades, all restrooms and service facilities on the site’s back face.

The entire process was fraught with difficulties both tangible and immaterial. The two areas the client suggested; the mezzanine in the entertainment room and the single window fenestration on the south face – were the primary ones during the decision making process when we had to come up with spatial design alternatives.

Both areas were considered a disadvantage throughout the design process but ended up being the most intriguing features of the house.

The mezzanine and the Juliet balcony. The mezzanine is the most private area where the client’s children spend their spare time. We adore how they use the space to hide in some novels and musical genres.

The daughter’s lifestyle is depicted on the other side by Juliet’s balcony. Even though the bedroom has a sizeable balcony, she prefers to spend her evenings relaxing with her plants and a cup of coffee on the tiny Juliet balcony. Thus, these are the elements of the house’s design that we find most appealing.

The house’s design incorporates characteristics of modernism and simplicity. The architectural design is best displayed by the exterior’s soft pastel colors. A ledge inside the window gives the users of the recreation room a view of the outside.

It is situated in the exposed concrete front face of the building. The choice of kota finish on the flooring complements the fundamental layout of the interior of the home, subdued colors schemes like mauve and gray.

The use of the rattan canes in beds, closets, and other furniture and the finishing of timber on the staircase and other features. These subtle hues also enable the use of color pops in various places, emphasizing and bringing life to the entire house.

Since we always have been inspired by Correa’s modern take on Indian architecture, we have made an attempt to include some of its characteristics in some of the sections. The influence of warli art and artists like piet Mondrian can be observed in a number of locations.
