Editor’s note : High-pitched roof and the complimentary color palette to Gir, make Jagira – The Jungle Resort striking to its visitors. The roof angle is the most unique element that visitors see at first glance that seems to be helpful in keeping the rooms cooler from the heat outside. Each room structure contrasts high pitched roof with its rectangular built space. Besides the geometric structures, the choice of materials and earthy colors smartly appeals to the Gir-surroudings of wild and raw. ~ Aditi Shah (editor)

It has 52 opulent accomodations that come adorned with a myriad of amenities and services. Also a few rooms have been designed in the Bhunga Style which matches the landscape of the place.

An in-house multi-cuisine restaurant with a patio setting is situated amidst a picturesque setting, offering a delightful dining experience. Resorts epitomises luxury in blissful settings.

Spread across acres of lush greenery, the Resort encompasses speciality restaurants to pamper your palate, complemented by a host of wellness and recreation facilities.

It features cosy rooms across four categories – Classic Deluxe Room, Classic Luxury Room, Luxury Cottage Room and Premium Cottage Room.

Designed keeping the welfare of the guests in mind, these rooms come with a host of contemporary amenities and facilities. With classic interiors and fine furnishing, the rooms offer a cosy stay in Gir.

The design incorporated a seamless blend between indoor and outdoor spaces. The buildings were designed in such a way that none of the trees were cut while setting them, the placement followed the contours.

Spaces such as decks, patios, verandas and balconies connected the inside spaces with external courtyards and further with surrounding nature.

One of the major concerns while conceiving this project was to design such that it does minimum disturbance to existing terrain. The property is lush green and blessed with plenty of large trees and variety of plants.

Hence, Landscape of the campus was made the unifying and unique feature of the project, which attempted to merge the design with the context. The public areas are treated with such finesse giving an international and yet natural feel.

Also, we ensured that the facilities provided confirmed to certain standards as the Resort was going to have a future tie up with Ananta – a five star hotel group.

Contemporary Architecture with Classic Interiors and modern furnishings. The building is designed as modern, light, airy and transparent with no specific style or character, so as to create an effect of immersion in landscape.
