The Stilt floor is designed for practicality and utility. It features a parking area, a home office, a servant room with an attached toilet, an electrical panel room, and a lift lobby. An external staircase, extending up to the third floor, ensures restricted access for tenants to their respective levels, maintaining the privacy of the triplex owners. The single lift, an efficient use of vertical space, extends exclusively up to the terrace floor but is accessible only by the triplex owners, ensuring exclusivity.
Situated in one of Kukatpally’s most vibrant neighborhoods, VERTICAL SANCTUARIES rises as a harmonious blend of architectural ingenuity and natural inspiration. Nestled amidst closely packed buildings, the project tackles the challenge of drawing natural light into its triplex layout while ensuring utmost privacy for its residents. The design draws from the imagery of a bird’s perch, creating expansive balconies and open spaces that provide stunning views, a sense of freedom, and a connection to the outdoors.
The elevation design takes cues from nature, turning each balcony into a personal perch—a retreat where residents can unwind and reconnect with their surroundings. This motif of “nesting” extends into the interiors, where thoughtful design elements bring nature and modernity into perfect balance.
As one enters the drawing room, the eye is drawn to a wooden partition adorned with delicate brass bird motifs. This poetic feature symbolizes freedom and adds a touch of nature to the room’s earthy tones.
Elegant furniture, seamless indoor-outdoor transitions, and abundant natural light make this space a serene retreat.
Sunlight flows through the northeast-facing balcony and a thoughtfully positioned low-height window behind the sofa. Thus, ensuring a warm glow for the indoor plants throughout the day.
At the heart of the triplex lies a dramatic double-height space, featuring a Puja unit that is bathed in natural light from a sleek skylight above.
Thoughtfully placed slits in the Puja unit allow sunlight to cascade into its interiors, creating a tranquil focal point.
On one side of the double-height space, an artful glass installation resembling bird wings reflects light and symbolizes liberation and freedom.
On the opposite side, a sleek metal staircase with wooden flooring ascends alongside angular walls, ensuring privacy from neighboring buildings. This staircase design directs focus toward two lush trees, visible across all three levels, adding a sense of serenity and continuity.
The lounge is a vibrant space featuring a striking orange couch, complemented by the bird-wing installation. Moreover, it is illuminated by the skylight above. The lack of side windows enhances privacy while maintaining a strong connection to the surroundings.
Situated in the southwest corner of the triplex, the elder son’s bedroom is a serene retreat that blends modern sophistication with nature. The room features a custom wood platform bed with soft ambient lighting, flanked by sleek bedside tables and earthy-toned finishes.
The wardrobe stands out with a striking mix of natural wood textures and bold black accents. Moreover, it adds a touch of understated luxury.
A large window behind the bed frames lush green trees, bringing in natural light and creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. Moreover, this thoughtful design ensures the space feels cozy, functional, and perfectly suited for a growing family.
A unique design element in this bedroom is its luxurious shower area, nestled under a skylight. Thus, creating a bathing experience immersed in natural light.
A large adjoining balcony adds to the room’s openness, while the walk-in closet and attached toilet enhance functionality.
This level emphasizes family living and privacy. A family lounge overlooking the double-height space fosters connection, while two bedrooms for the sons feature walk-in closets and attached bathrooms. Additionally, a guest bedroom with a shared toilet completes the floor. Furthermore, it ensures a warm and hospitable design.
It is a haven for entertainment. This floor includes a powder room, a home theatre with a bar unit, and an expansive open terrace. A semi-covered gazebo is complete with cozy seating. Thus, it offers the perfect setting for evening gatherings and celebrations.
The terrace transforms into a lush tropical haven, draped in greenery with curtain creepers cascading from the roof. Carefully curated plantations create a tranquil, natural retreat where residents can feel immersed in a verdant paradise.
At every level, vertical sanctuaries embraces the themes of liberation, connection, and privacy. From the interplay of natural light and earthy materials to the symbolism of birds and wings, this home redefines urban living. Moreover, it crafts spaces that resonate with nature’s rhythm and the needs of a modern family.
