Indoor–Outdoor Relationship

The single-storey farmhouse includes two bedrooms, planned as seamless interconnecting spaces that encourage fluid movement while maintaining privacy. The design integrates private courts that bring light, ventilation, and landscape, while blurring indoor-outdoor boundaries and enriching spatial experience.

Architectural Expression

Architecturally, complete symmetry defines the project and governs both its plan and elevation. This rigorous adherence to balance and proportion became the conceptual foundation of the design, ultimately inspiring the name The House of Symmetry.

A restrained material palette expresses the structure, prominently featuring brick cladding and brick screens that lend the house a timeless character while also serving functional purposes such as shading, privacy, and thermal comfort.

The interiors reflect a modern luxury aesthetic, intentionally understated yet refined. Grey textured walls wrap the internal spaces, creating a neutral canvas that enhances spatial depth and material richness. The design team took great care to ensure that the interior atmosphere complements the architectural intent—calm, balanced, and cohesive.

Art Integration & Collaboration

A defining aspect of the interior design is the integration of customized and curated artworks, developed through collaborations with multiple artists. The design team specifically designed each piece for its location within the house, adding layers of meaning and individuality while maintaining harmony with the overall design language. The artworks act not merely as decorative elements, but as integral components of the spatial experience.
