Upon entering, the home naturally divides into two sections: a private area comprising the living room and bedrooms and a guest-centric section designed for social gatherings.

    Entrance

The entrance is defined by large glass windows that bring in natural light, blurring the boundary between the interior and surrounding landscape. The home features clean lines, a neutral colour palette, and varied textures that create an open yet warm atmosphere.

    Central Space

The central space consists of an open-plan living and dining area that extends to the outdoor pool and lawn. A multifunctional hall serves as both a home theatre and an entertainment lounge, offering flexibility for various uses.

The colour scheme of green, grey, blue, and black unifies the interior, complemented by a mix of wood, glass, and metal for added texture. Marble flooring adds a refined touch, while all furniture pieces are made in-house, ensuring cohesiveness in design.

The living area is anchored by a sectional sofa, accent chairs, and a sculptural coffee table. Floor-to-ceiling windows enhance the connection to nature.

The dining space features a marble-top table surrounded by upholstered chairs, making it suitable for both small gatherings and larger social settings.

Custom-made lighting fixtures, including bedroom hanging lights, the bar counter light with a belt, and the hanging light above the dining table, contribute to the overall ambiance.

    Kitchen

The kitchen follows an open-plan layout, with black quartz countertops and cabinetry creating a bold aesthetic. The in-house crafted island table serves as both a workspace and a casual dining area, blending practicality with a contemporary look. Metallic fixtures and warm lighting complement the dark palette.

    Bedrooms

Bedrooms are designed as calming retreats, incorporating a neutral palette with subtle colour accents in textiles and artwork. Large windows frame outdoor views, fostering a connection with the landscape. The in-house crafted furniture includes upholstered headboards and wardrobes. Moreover, it ensures continuity in design.

The master suite features a king-size bed, soft ambient lighting, and a seating nook, with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a double vanity, rain shower, and natural stone finishes.

    Swimming Pool

A standout feature of the home is its swimming pool, illuminated by fibre optic lights that create a celestial effect at night. The pool integrates with the surrounding landscape, bordered by greenery and a deck area. Outdoor seating includes loungers and a pergola-covered dining space. Additionally, it makes it an inviting area for relaxation.

    Landscape

The landscape is an essential element of the design, with a variety of plants and foliage enhancing the natural setting. A sprawling lawn extends the living space outdoors, while pathways lead to private seating areas. Moreover, carefully selected outdoor furniture complements the setting, making the exterior spaces as comfortable as the interiors.

Lighting plays a vital role in shaping the atmosphere. A mix of recessed, pendant, and accent lighting enhances functionality while adding visual interest. The Fiber optic pool lights, illuminated pathways, and interior lighting work together to create a cohesive setting.

This weekend home represents a balance between design and practicality. Thus, offering a space that adapts to its occupants’ needs. With its focus on open spaces, carefully selected materials, and thoughtful planning, it provides a comfortable retreat from city life.
