“Where daylight flows across flowing walls, every curve feels like a living poem.” In Origami Curves – a house with arches, located on a leafy corner plot in Gurugram, architecture speaks in gentle curves. Two sides of the home open to a quiet park, where mature trees filter soft morning light. Stepping into the double-height lobby beneath the skylight panel, welcoming you into a home shaped by natural rhythm and thoughtful design.
This House With Arches & Curves Shapes Natural Rhythm & Thoughtful Design | RSAA Studio
Origami Curves brings together traditional warmth and modern simplicity. Built for a doctor who wanted a natural, contemporary feel, this duplex celebrates its green setting.
The home’s softly rounded windows, walls, and ceilings are painted in neutral colors: warm greys, beiges, creamy whites, and light wood tones.
These soothing shades act like a gentle backdrop, letting the shapes and light shine, showcasing how neutrals can subtly elevate spatial elegance.
At the heart of the home is an open kitchen island, its pale marble countertop and beige cabinets flowing gently in curve. Nearby shelves and smart storage keep things neat, while printed art and subtle wallpapers add just the right touch of personality, without being too bold.
With five rooms across two floors for a family of four, Origami Curves offers both togetherness and privacy. The parents’ bedroom is tucked away from the busy parts of the house and includes a cozy seating nook by a window overlooking the park.
Light walls and soft tones make it a peaceful retreat. Meanwhile, the daughter’s room skips the typical bed and gives space to dance. With built-in storage, pale wood floors, and light grey walls, it doubles as a play and performance area.
Traditional craft resonates through curved wooden and cane railings along the mezzanine, echoing the ethnic character. A minimalist marble temple sits beautifully within this neutral framework, its serene presence magnified by dappled sunlit patterns. At Origami Curves, every design decision echoes the home’s ethos: natural materials, light, and curvature grounded in a soothing neutral base.
The skylight sculpts the space, the palette supports everything beautifully, and the curves bring calm and poetry. Here, modern duplex living blends softly with heritage and nature, a peaceful, light-filled home shaped with care.
