This Home Brings To Life A Simple Interior House Design | YM Design Studios
The home is strategically planned, with the ground floor designated for rental purposes while the first and second floors are reserved as a private sanctuary for the homeowners.
A thoughtfully designed dual-entry system ensures privacy, with the primary entrance exclusively for the homeowners and a secondary entry allocated for tenants.
As you step into the property, a charming garden welcomes you, an ode to the client’s deep love for plants. This verdant theme is carried throughout the home, bringing nature indoors and fostering a refreshing ambiance.
The journey begins at the main entrance, leading to an elegant aisle that sets the tone for the home. A separate door to the formal drawing room allows for private gatherings, while the grand main entrance invites you further inside.
At the core of this abode is a breathtaking double-height living area, designed to bathe the space in natural light.
Adjacent to it, a skylit courtyard with a grand mandir becomes a serene retreat, accentuated by a lush seating area and a striking double-height Gwalior mint stone-clad wall. Flanking the aisle are a study room, the master bedroom, and another access point to the formal drawing room.
The living room’s focal point is its staircase wall, adorned with a minimal yet refined fluted design. To amplify the sense of openness, a pristine white palette enhances illumination. Concealed behind an intricate CNC partition lies the dining area—an intimate space for family meals, complete with a console for storage and a designated spot for a classic painting.
The kitchen is a seamless blend of opulence and restraint. The elegance of Alaska Black granite takes center stage, complemented by single-toned neutral furniture, ensuring continuity with the overall design ethos.
The master bedroom balances authority and simplicity with a neutral palette of grey and white. A charcoal louver bed-back wall adds depth, while a spacious balcony adorned with plants serves as a serene escape.
The son’s bedroom exudes grandeur with a striking bed-back feature wall, subdued furniture, and a cozy balcony inviting in ample natural light.
Ascending the staircase, a bridge on the second floor leads to the guest and daughter’s rooms, flanked by the double-height living area and mandir.
The guest room, adorned in warm brown neutrals, overlooks the courtyard below, offering a peaceful retreat.
The daughter’s room embraces minimalism with sparse furniture, fostering openness for her occasional visits.
A multipurpose study area on the second floor offers a vantage point overlooking the living room, complete with a console and shelving to house the client’s cherished book collection. Beyond the bridge, an expansive terrace provides an open-air haven, perfect for relaxation.
This meticulously crafted home is a testament to the beauty of simplicity, natural light, and organic textures. By seamlessly integrating nature, timeless materials, and thoughtful spatial planning, this residence offers an elegant yet low-maintenance lifestyle. As a result, it becomes a true dream home for its visionary owners.
