Facade

A defining feature of the space is its expansive floor-to-ceiling glass façade on two sides, overlooking the bustling intersection below. Elevated approximately 20 feet above street level, the vantage point provides a striking visual presence, ensuring that the store is both an architectural landmark and an inviting retail destination. Moreover, a dedicated panoramic glass elevator orchestrates access to the store, enhancing the transition from the urban exterior to the curated Poliform world within.

Design Layout

The layout guides visitors through a sequence of eleven meticulously arranged settings, each showcasing Poliform’s extensive range of furniture and lifestyle solutions. Here, three distinct living room configurations, a dining ensemble, two fully outfitted kitchens, three walk-in wardrobes, a bedroom with an adjoining study, and an intimate sit-out create a seamless progression of spaces, allowing clients to experience the brand’s design language across different typologies. Further, the spatial narrative encourages exploration, fostering an intuitive engagement with the furniture.

Material Palette

A restrained yet tactile material palette reinforces the brand’s sophisticated aesthetic. Here, the flooring, selected in alignment with Poliform’s global material guidelines, is a textured white stone that imparts a sense of understated luxury.

The walls feature a blend of textured clay paint and Poliform’s signature fabric and wood paneling, introducing warmth and depth to the interiors. Moreover, a striking addition is the Arte wallpaper. It draws inspiration from Italy’s architectural heritage through its arch-like motifs, subtly referencing the brand’s origins.

Light Fixtures

Lighting plays a pivotal role in shaping the ambiance of the space. A combination of decorative luminaires from Tom Dixon and Flos, alongside technical lighting solutions. Further, including concealed spots, targeted track fixtures, and wall washers. They create a layered interplay of light and shadow. Furthermore, floor and table lamps punctuate the setting, reinforcing an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.

Acoustic Feature

Acoustic comfort is addressed through Poliform’s fabric panels, ensuring a hushed, immersive environment that enhances the tactile and visual experience of the furniture. Furthermore, the ceiling, rendered in seamless gypsum with a clean, minimalist finish. Also, it maintains an uninterrupted sense of spatial fluidity.

One of the primary challenges during the design process was integrating fire and electrical services. As they were centrally positioned within the space. Further, this constraint was resolved through the introduction of concealed paneling with access shutters. Seamlessly integrated into the overall design language and finished with the Arte wallpaper, transforming a functional necessity into a refined design feature.

Flagship Center

Beyond its architectural and interior composition, the flagship experience center serves as an extension of Poliform’s philosophy. Here, luxury is expressed through precision, material integrity, and spatial coherence.

By adhering to the brand’s global standards while responding to the nuances of the site, the design ensures that every visitor engages with Poliform’s offerings. A setting that is both aspirational and deeply personal. Further, this flagship store is not just a showroom; it is a testament to the power of design in shaping experience.
