A home is not made by the walls, but by the people living in it.
Editor’s Note: “This residence in Rajkot with its cement-textured facade evokes a commanding aura. The neutral colour palette for the exterior and the interior is carefully curated for the diverse personalities of the abode. The design weaves a narrative of vertical and linear geometry with bold accents to accentuate the design language. ” ~Simran Khare

This home tactically encompasses the needs of all the 3 generations residing in it. Each space is designed after working on the character and personality of the users and then blending it into one design theme and aesthetics. The design brief was worked upon after thoroughly keeping in mind the minutest details of the schedule each member maintains and their likes and dislikes.
Entire house has been conceptualized with vertical and linear structures in the backdrop with bold accents blending creatively to give a lasting impression of design and aesthetics. Neat neutral colours are used for walls & furniture whereas the shades opted for upholstery works as colour pops.
The living room showcases a seamless blend of plush comfort and refined aesthetics. Lavish sofas and chairs upholstered in luxurious fabrics offer a cozy seating arrangement.
Beautifully translucent curtains and matte walls add to the royal experience of the space with the seating arrangement.
We have planned the circulation inside the Home through varied volumes scaling Double-Height and Triple-Height spans. The House blurs the threshold between exteriors and interiors.
The Kitchen, the Dining, the Family entrance lobby and the Living room has an open-plan arrangement. This makes the interior spaces blend into each other seamlessly. The transparent nature of the spaces in the ground floor allows unobstructed visual connections across its large floor plate and even the uninterrupted diagonal views.
Adjacent to the kitchen area, a stunning dining area awaits. A large, polished dining table serves as the centerpiece, surrounded by elegantly upholstered chairs.
The ambient lighting, tastefully placed decorative elements, transforming every meal into a memorable experience. On a visual level, it expands the perceived space, making the room feel larger and more open.
Adjoining kitchen serves as the source of prudent interiors. It has its own materials, colour selections has been defined by balancing a bold colour with the neutrals.
It is majorly dark – light grey tone and well-lit for convenient cooking curating a unique from of modernity and class with its neat design.
The master bedroom, in particular, boasts a spacious walk-in closet and an end-suite bathroom featuring exquisite fixtures and luxury marbles.
The leather finished bed with slender legs centralizes the space to be surrounded by crude panels and vertical battening.
The first glance of master bedroom would leave one awed. Each bedroom within this house exudes its unit.
Lavishly appointed beds, plush carpets, and carefully selected furnishings create an indulgent retreat for relaxation.
With a new level of sophistication with tones and subtly elegant design. It has a balcony to enjoy the scenic view of the surroundings.
Positioning a study desk and chair in the area, preferably in a clean, minimalist design & ensuring the desk is spacious enough to accommodate your study.
A place where a big group of friends can see a match or a movie together. The home theatre is a cosy 5 to7 seated arrangement.
The house is equipped with an acoustically sound home theatre. Cozy seating and warm lights set a perfect mood for those lethargic retreats in here.
The decor is minimalist yet sophisticated, with a careful selection of materials and textures that create a sense of warmth and comfort. The designing of a home is apparently designing a lifestyle. It is not only bringing together the soil, climate, material but also weaves the lifestyle of the inhabitants. For each design and client there is a unique combination of influences – people, places, events, memories and perception which they have absorbed and observed.
