The challenge of the site was to merge two plots into one as vertical land, guiding the spatial planning of the spaces. As one enters from the hustle and bustle of the city to the shaded verandah, the door opens, and an eye catches the grey-coloured baisan panel. Meanwhile, the elegance of a traditional wooden table infuses it with a sense of charm.
As your feet touch the sparkling marble of the living area, the decor style blends seamlessly with the set of contemporary, luxurious sofas. It is an illustration of upholstery flair. The rich shade of blue and beige invites one to sink into the plush cushions. Meanwhile, a striking blue print on the fabric contrasts, adding spirit to the space.
The veneer-finished partition with an austere geometric pattern complements the room’s aesthetics. Additionally, the simplistic look of the TV cabinet elevates the sense of elegance. Meanwhile, each detail expresses traditional and contemporary craftsmanship. Fluted glass panels and a wooden framework filter the daylight. Thus, the play of light and shadow dances across the room, offering glimpses of the garden beyond the living area. It blurs the boundaries of inside and outside with a sense of openness.
The kitchen subtle violet tint contrasts with the beige fabric chairs supported by the sleek wooden legs in the dining area, surrounded by the grand black marble staircase. A harmonious play of colour and texture fills this House in Baroda, where every element contributes to the intent of warmth and solace. The simplistic look of the bedroom on the ground floor creates a sense of contemporary serenity. The beige and wooden member merges with the floral headboard of the pole bed, with a wooden top and a side table with brass handles.
The first floor comprises a son’s bedroom and master bedroom, with a leisure home theatre and a Jacuzzi on a balcony with an abundance of plants. The guest’s bedroom dances with muted and dark shades and floral fabrics, elevating the living experience. The MDF panelling with geometric floral design adds depth to the room, bringing modern beauty and bliss.
The son’s bedroom, a symphony of warm tones and natural wooden texture, forms a haven of style. As one steps into the enclosure, eyes are instantly drawn to the echoing burst of orange shade sitting in a cosy corner. Potted plants are placed beside the seating, inviting one to relax and embrace nature. Set against the backdrop of soothing grey and rich brown MDF panelling, the bed with a passionate orange-shaded headboard exudes a sense of energy and ease.
A balcony, just behind the seating, illuminates the corners of the room with soft and gentle natural light. Meanwhile, the beige-coloured curtains, with their soft folds, filter the sunlight into the room. An orange-hued artwork on a white wall is the dynamic focal point of the space. The sleek cabinet and its bold orange veneer finish add a touch of trendy grace with a backdrop of pastel grey panelling, besides bronze glass, contemplating the beauty of the patio beyond. These visual elements create the illusion of depth and space within the confines of the bedroom.
The heart of the house in Baroda is the foremost home theatre, a fusion of luxury and entertainment. The rustic brick cladding with the rich warmth of wood panelling encircles the one in the immersive experience of relaxation. On one side of the room, the screen adds an animated element, opening into the cosy grey-shaded sofa and recliners adjacent to the balcony with fresh views of the surroundings.
The contemporary artwork of orange and dark black complements the geometric grid soundproof false ceiling, ensuring that every moment becomes a perfect setting. A lavish Jacuzzi invites one to unwind and relax, or merely enjoy the evening as the sun sets and space transforms into tranquility, while potted plants add a touch of untouched beauty.
The Pramukh Villa, a contemporary house, resembles the stability of concrete and the flexibility of rustic brick, blurring the boundaries of inside and outside spaces and creating the magic of a unique spatial experience. Every corner of the house is designed with precision of detail and fosters a deep connection with nature.
