  • Mumbai Office Underwent A Transformation From A Bare Shell | P&T Design Studio

Situated in Marathon Futurex, Parel, Monochrome, a 1025 sq.ft Mumbai office underwent a transformation from a bare shell into a meticulously designed workspace. The office adopts a spacious and open concept where employees work together in two central sections, accompanied by two pods designed for private conversations or phone calls.

Additionally, there’s a designated standing workspace and three cabins, each catering to different divisions. The layout also includes a pantry, a lounge, and three separate sections for distinct divisions to operate.

The overall ambiance of the space radiates sophistication, offering an inviting and functional atmosphere. The choice of monochrome as the color scheme stems from its timeless and sophisticated nature.

This aesthetic preference, characterized by a harmonious blend of black, white, and varying shades of gray, creates an atmosphere of simplicity, modernity, and understated luxury.

To enhance the visual impact, a diverse selection of materials was incorporated, including sleek metal finishes, glass surfaces, and warm wooden textures.

This amalgamation of materials adds depth and interest to the overall design, contributing to a refined and contemporary workspace.

One of the primary goals was to maximize the influx of natural light. Strategic use of blinds and glass in meeting rooms achieved a delicate balance between allowing ample light and ensuring privacy.

Task lighting, in the form of track lights rather than desk lamps, was employed to guarantee sufficient illumination for various work tasks.

To further enhance the overall ambiance and introduce a natural element, the incorporation of plants brings life to the surroundings, contributing to a vibrant workspace.

In essence, Monochrome is not just an office space; it is a carefully crafted environment that seamlessly blends functionality, aesthetics, and a touch of nature to create an inspiring and dynamic workplace.
