An Industrial Style Inspired Timeless Office Design | Kreebox Architects

The project is a two storey building attached to the factory plant with common spaces on ground floor and formal spaces on the first. The Ground Floor accommodates a reception along with a small waiting area, double height temple, staff area and a lab.

A combination of brick cladding and concrete runs on the walls in a rhythmic manner throughout the interior.

The main focal point of the project is the welcoming sculpture and staircase designed around it. The scale and lighting of the area makes it stand out from the rest of the space.

The double height temple opposite to the sculpture balances the whole area. Ceiling is done in exposed ms work and the lighting is done in industrial style theme. Overall it is a blend of industrial style and minimalism.

Our favourite design element is the double height space around the staircase. A large welcoming statue with open arms is placed in the center of the staircase.

The backdrop of the sculpture is done in MS pipe work with profle light going upto the mumty. A mix of artificial and natural plants brings in the greenery and freshness to the office The gesture of the statue  presents the growth of the company.

Geometric pattern tiles are laid in a straight axis from entrance to the lab around which the other spaces like reception, staff area and temple are designed.

On the first floor the conference room is done in the same design scheme. The director cabin is done in French style interior to distinguish it from the rest of the space and make it look classic and elegant.

We encountered many challenges while executing the project. Our biggest concern was to complete and design the project within the budget of the client.

In order to achieve this we used brick cladding tiles, concrete texture paint,  and exposed ceiling design which reduced the material cost to a great extent.

The Director’s cabin has a fixed window next to the desk, from where he can demonstrate the working of the factory to his clients.

Brick cladding, concrete texture, wood and steel are the main materials used along with neutral colours.

The office building is attached to the Red oxide factory plant, which makes it vulnerable to exposure to red oxide powder.

To avoid this, we didn’t provide any balcony and fenestrations in the facade, and instead fixed windows and glazings are used where ever possible.
