Keeping with the client’s brief the residence is a literal manifestation of tranquil haven allowing efficacy with extravagance facilitating spiritual connection of man with his environment.
The material palette of the house primarily revolves around a combination of Italian stones (Michael Angelo, silver river, black portico) ,granite (steel grey, black pearl, blue pearl, coffee brown) and wood(teak, pine, plywood for furniture & pergo for flooring).
To introduce softness in the spaces, bright and pastel hues were sued for the furnishings and upholstery. Large openings make the interiors bright and lively. The result is a structure that is gently extroverted yet retains enough privacy.
The interiors are adorned with magnificent furniture designs aiding in increasing the visual capacity of spaces. The boldness of white balances the subtleness of grey & wood and compliments the indoor and outdoor greens in the most natural way.
In terms of interiors design, it has a palatial style with some modern elements : big panels, straight and simple lines, materialized by variation in wood, veneer, laminate surfaces, granite & tiles (porcelian tiles ,glass mosaic, mosaic tiles).
Finishes mainly used were lacquered polyurethane finish for the furniture’s & texture paints for the surfaces.
The project was influenced majorly by the clients need as the clients requirement was to create landscape all over the periphery of the house .The site nests in the outskirts from the main city, in a developing residential area, with the north-east, southeast & south -west side abutting the road.
The key features of the project were being surrounded with lush green landscape throughout, magnificent and organic spaces created both indoor & outdoor.
The only challenge we faced was giving views to the natural landscape from each & every space in the interiors. All the spaces enjoy the carefully decorated landscape surroundings and thereby create a refreshing atmosphere.
