Pranjali – The Doctor’s Bungalow is a peaceful and practical modern bungalow design located in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The name Pranjali, meaning “a graceful offering” or “a gesture of respect,” reflects the spirit of this residence—a calm, humble, and thoughtful space created for a doctor couple seeking balance in their busy lives. The design goal was to create a home that is simple, elegant, and easy to maintain, offering the clients a quiet retreat from their demanding schedules. From the start, the focus was on three main ideas: low upkeep, timeless beauty, and a soothing atmosphere.
The clients emphasized the importance of natural light, ventilation, and smooth flow between spaces. These ideas shaped the design in every way—from the way the building sits on the site to the selection of materials. Set in a fast-growing part of the city, the site offered a great chance to create a modern home connected with nature. The house is positioned to receive plenty of sunlight and cross-breezes. Large windows and open areas make the interiors feel bright, airy, and welcoming.

To make sure the modern bungalow design stays low maintenance, we used durable, long-lasting materials. The flooring is a mix of natural stone and vitrified tiles—both easy to clean and strong. Weather-resistant paint and finishes on the exterior help the house withstand the local climate with ease.
The layout of the home is simple and comfortable. A welcoming foyer opens into a spacious living room, which flows into the dining area and an efficient, well-organized kitchen. Bedrooms are quiet and private, with large windows that open up to green views and let in plenty of light and air.
While the design stays simple in the modern bungalow design, it includes subtle touches of comfort and style—custom lighting, soft textures, and warm colors make the space feel both modern and inviting. Smart home features like automated lighting and climate control add ease to daily living, especially helpful for homeowners’ on-the-go lifestyle.
A central highlight of this modern bungalow design is its Deck area, which brings nature into the heart of the home. It improves natural cooling, adds beauty to the interiors, and offers a quiet space for reflection and rest—a true escape within the house.
Every corner of Pranjali reflects a careful balance between beauty, function, and ease. The home is designed to support well-being, offering the residents not just a place to stay, but a space to breathe, reflect, and grow. The entrance of the modern bungalow design is both grand and welcoming. A dedicated pedestrian entry leads directly to the main door, offering a clear and elegant approach to the house. Soft lighting along the walkway adds a warm, inviting glow, especially in the evenings.
The main door is tall, bold, and beautifully crafted to make a strong first impression. While it looks grand and heavy, it is easy to use and fits perfectly with the simple, clean design of the home. The overall entrance creates a calm and graceful transition from outside to inside.
The foyer is designed as a warm and simple space that connects the outside to the inside of the home. It leads you directly to the living and drawing rooms, creating a smooth and welcoming entry. The soft lighting, golden details, and the tree-of-life design on the window add a calm and graceful touch. The flooring pattern gently guides you forward, and hidden storage keeps the area neat. For us, the foyer isn’t just an entry—it’s the first step into the peaceful and elegant feel of the home.
The drawing room has been thoughtfully designed as a formal space, mainly to host the doctor couple’s colleagues, friends, and guests. Since they often have professional visitors or small gatherings, this area provides enough seating to accommodate more people comfortably. The layout ensures that even when the room is full, it doesn’t feel crowded.
It maintains a clean and elegant look, making it suitable for both formal discussions and relaxed conversations. The use of neutral tones, layered lighting, and simple yet stylish furniture helps create a balanced environment—professional yet warm and inviting.
The living room was envisioned as the soul of the home — a space that quietly connects people, places, and daily rhythms. It’s where the family gathers to relax, share conversations, or simply enjoy a moment of calm together.
Designed to be full of natural light and ventilation, the space feels open, airy, and refreshing throughout the day. Large openings towards the deck invite sunlight and breeze into the room, blurring the line between indoor comfort and outdoor openness.
The soft sound of the nearby water element adds to the sense of peace, creating a grounding atmosphere that enhances the experience of being at home.
Strategically placed, this room connects to all key areas — the staircase, dining, kitchen, and even the common washroom — making it not just a gathering space, but a central hub of the house. It’s where circulation flows naturally and daily life unfolds effortlessly.

We designed this space to feel warm, open, and easy to use. The kitchen is practical and modern, with lots of storage, built-in appliances, and a central island where the family can gather—whether it’s for cooking, chatting, or spending time together.
The double-height dining area adds a special touch. It makes the space feel bigger and brighter, and it also connects the upper floor to the lower one. Sunlight comes in from above, making the whole area feel fresh and full of life.
Together, the kitchen and dining form the heart of the home—a place that brings everyone together in a simple and comfortable way.
This bedroom is designed for the elderly, keeping their comfort and daily needs in mind.
It has a soft, traditional look that feels familiar and homely. The room is easy to move around, with simple furniture and useful storage to make everyday life easier and more relaxing.
This guest bedroom is designed to give a warm and welcoming feeling. We used traditional-style furniture to make the space feel homely and elegant.
There is ample storage so that guests can keep their belongings properly. We have also added a sofa and extra furniture to help guests place their luggage and bags comfortably. This way, the room stays neat and clutter-free.
Soft lighting, cozy textures, and wooden flooring complete the room—making it both practical and peaceful for any guest staying here.
We designed the master bedroom to be a cozy yet functional space, connected to a balcony that opens up to a beautiful view.
It also leads into a spacious walk-in closet—one of the biggest in the house—with 7 to 9 wardrobes to comfortably accommodate everyday essentials.
This closet connects to a grand washroom, allowing smooth and private circulation. Inside the room, we added curved storage, a comfortable recliner, and a neat TV unit.
Different types of lights are used to create different moods, so the room feels warm, peaceful, or bright depending on the time and need.
We designed this room to be a calm, cozy, and personal space for a growing daughter. The idea was to make it both beautiful and useful — a place where she can relax, study, and feel at home. The soft pink headboard and warm tones make the room feel peaceful and welcoming.
The bed has storage built in, so things stay tidy without taking up extra space. We added a study table that also works as a dressing area, with a round mirror and soft lighting to make it feel special. Open shelves give space for books, photos, and her favorite things, while the TV unit keeps wires and items hidden for a clean look.
The walk-in wardrobe area gives lots of storage and has soft lighting to make it feel like a little dressing room. Everything — from the lights to the furniture — was chosen to make the room feel warm, functional, and ready to grow with her over the years.
The son’s bedroom is designed to be comfortable, stylish, and practical. We wanted to create a space where he can relax, study, and enjoy his free time. The main wall behind the bed has a stone veneer finish, which adds a bold and warm look to the room. It gives a nice natural touch and makes the space feel cozy yet modern.
There’s also a bay window seating where he can sit and read or just relax. A separate study corner and gaming area are planned so he has space to focus and also have fun. We’ve used the same stone finish in different parts of the room to keep the design connected and neat.
This room supports his daily routine, nurtures his hobbies, and gives him a space of his own.
Since both clients are doctors, they designed this library to support their need for continuous reading and research. The tall, well-lit bookshelves hold a wide variety of medical and academic books. The spacious desk setup is ideal not just for studying, but also for content creation like recording videos, attending webinars, or online consultations. The calm color palette, smart lighting, and organized layout make it a perfect space for both focus and creativity.
