  • The Minimalist Contemporary Interior Design Is Rooted in Biophilic Design | Design Quest Corporation

The modern residence integrates contemporary architecture with biophilic design principles, offering a luxurious and nature-connected living experience. The exterior features clean lines, landscaped lawns, and vertical green walls that soften the structure while promoting sustainability.

The minimalist contemporary interior designs of this are designed with an open-plan layout, double-height ceilings, and large glass openings, ensuring abundant natural light and ventilation. Key spaces like the living room, bedroom, and dining area emphasize minimalism, warm tones, and natural materials such as wood, stone, and glass.

Biophilic elements, including indoor green walls and outdoor greenery, enhance the overall ambiance, blending functionality with aesthetics. The design prioritizes comfort, energy efficiency, and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, creating an elegant and sustainable home.

Editor’s Note: “This modern home combines modern minimalism with biophilic design, offering a connection between indoors and outdoors. The exterior features grey stone veneer, wooden battens, and green walls in a balanced aesthetic. Open spaces, lighting, and earthy textures are hallmarks of the interiors. Key elements such as water features, floral fabrics, and warm lighting enhance comfort and tranquility.” ~ Anusha Sridhar

    Minimalist Contemporary Interior Design

    Exterior

The concept of this residence is based on an amalgamation of contemporary minimalism with greenery. This concept conveys the feel of living in the modern era along with a calming experience to enhance physical and mental well-being. With the aim to incline the design towards modernism with nature grey stone veneer, M.S. wooden batten and WPC ceiling are used on the exterior, and a neutral color palette is introduced, which is complemented by warm white lights. In this manner the weight of cool and warm tones is balanced.

    Entrance Lobby

The entrance lobby is defining the warm and welcoming impression. Cozy sitting space with artificial marble tile, rattan furniture and a double-heighted door enriching the landscape.

    Family Hall

Double-height formal living room bringing spacious ambience and inviting plenty of sunlight and indoor landscape with a grey stone façade holding an outdoor touch.

    Minimalist Contemporary Interior Design

The water body uplifts the relaxing aura of the room, complemented by a sitting space featuring PVC deck flooring and cane sofa chairs. To create contrast with the scenery, M.S. ceilings are added over the water bodies.

    Minimalist Contemporary Interior Design

To maintain the natural theme for the interior, the sofas use fabric with a floral pattern. Since the stone façade, fabrics, vertical garden, and floor carry texture or patterns, bright paint stabilizes the density of the theme.

    Kitchen and Dining

The kitchen and dining area feature a muted color palette, highlighted by grey matte tiles and lamination. The geometric pattern on a wall in the dining area, along with curtains emphasizing the room with its pattern and shades of melon.

A blind curtain creates a visual barrier between the dining and kitchen areas. Meanwhile, a chandelier and ceiling design adorn the entire space, influencing the room’s tones.

    Bedroom

Rubber wood creates the layout of the world map, which represents a highlighting element.

    Master Bedroom

The rusty-colored organic pattern wall being contrary to the entire subtle theme, therefore dragging the focus.

Different doors in the room serving their respective purposes, such as a sliding door attached to sit out for welcoming natural light and ventilation. Additionally, a folding door segregating the room with a walk-in closet, as well as glamorizing the theme.

    Walk-in closet and Bathroom

The mirror light and ceiling light effect in the walk-in closet not only make it visually lavish but also reliable to perform various tasks.
