  • The Design of the Office Interior Envisions a Relaxed Ambience | B and B Associates

Every part of your life deserves to embrace comfort and good aesthetics, most importantly the design of office and workplace interior, where we spend a significant amount of time every day. When our client, Mr Dushyant Sethi, came to us with the vision of his office, the main requirement was a relaxed ambience that would enhance comfort and productivity.

    Space Planning

The design of office interior is located in the middle of the city at the building called ‘City Centre’ on the second floor. The floor area of this office is 1100 sq. ft., which includes the main waiting area with reception desk, a small pantry, a staff area for 4 members, a conference room for 6 members, and a 6-foot-wide corridor leading up to the main cabin. The main cabin includes a desk area with a lounge and waiting area.

Planning of spaces creates a seamless flow in the office. As the ‘Trust and Team’ office warmly hosts multiple visitors every day, the reception desk and the waiting area are designed spaciously.

Pantry is very well hidden, with solid partitions near the reception area. Entry to the pantry is from the reception area, enhancing convenience for the receptionist in coordinating services.

    Well Connected Spaces

The staff room and waiting area are also adjacent to each other visibly very well connected. A 6-foot-wide corridor separates the staff room and conference room, leading directly to the main cabin.

The main cabin is the biggest area in the office. The extreme end wall of the office is a front glass façade of the building, which provides a very good view of the city.

It also allows plenty of natural sunlight to brighten the area. We also separated the main cabin and staff room with storage cabinets, providing ample storage on both sides.

We use simple lines in the design to maintain a minimalist look. Furthermore, we designed the entire front façade, staff room, and conference partitions with clear glass to create a spacious and uncluttered office environment. The colour combination used throughout the office makes it look bigger and warmer.

    Spacious Office Spaces

We use yellow and dark grey to highlight walls and emphasise special areas and elements in the design. The white colour balances the highlighting colours and enhances the spaciousness of the office.

Light-coloured wooden flooring also blends with other elements well and does not dominate. The colour of the furniture also complements the wall colours. Warm white lights enhance the desired effect of serenity throughout the space.

We use circular design elements in partition walls, background walls in the reception area, the conference room, and the false ceiling. Accent lights used are also circular in shape. All these similar design elements bind all the spaces together very well.

    Minute Detailing

We ensure that every small detail is carefully considered to achieve the desired effect in the design. From the grooves on the walls to the furniture, every element is thoughtfully crafted. The team has personalized the workspace with art and artefacts, bringing in a sense of individuality and creativity.

We were able to complete the entire project successfully thanks to our highly cooperative client.
