Concept Note:

The bungalow’s innovative design centers around four double-height frames positioned at the cardinal points, each serving distinct functions. These frames, featuring full-height glass, offer panoramic views and bathe the interiors in natural light throughout the year. A horizontal frame elegantly intersects the vertical frames, forming both the outer deck and the main entrance, creating a harmonious blend of vertical and horizontal elements.

The plinth, appearing to float mid-air, adds a dramatic contrast between weight and weightlessness. The material palette enhances this architectural marvel, with concrete texture paint on the horizontal frame, wood effect tiles on the vertical frames, and travertine stone adding rich textural depth to the elevation. This design not only exudes luxury and sophistication but also seamlessly integrates the indoors with the natural surroundings.

Design Process:

The bungalow’s design meticulously adheres to Vaastu principles, fulfilling the client’s desires. The ground floor features two bedrooms, a visitor area, an informal living space, and a kitchen with a dining area. The first floor houses the remaining three bedrooms and an open-to-sky terrace. A private balcony complements each bedroom, providing personal outdoor space.

The terrace thoughtfully positions the spa and jacuzzi, providing a serene retreat within the home. This design combines traditional Vaastu elements with modern luxury, creating a harmonious and elegant living environment.

Interior Concept Note:

Given the client’s profile, we placed significant emphasis on crafting the ambiance of the ground floor, particularly in the double-height living and dining areas. The design concept was rooted in contemporary modern interiors, utilizing luxurious materials like Italian marble, veneers, and large-format tiles.

We established a pristine foundation with statuario marble flooring throughout the bungalow, creating a seamless white base. To add depth and texture, dark-shaded veneer was meticulously applied to sections of the ceiling, forming intricate patterns that play with the natural grain of the wood.

Custom-made chandeliers further elevate the double-height spaces. Thus, infusing the rooms with a sense of awe and grandeur that captivates anyone who enters.

Furthermore, in the 24-foot-high living room, we envisioned a striking marble statement piece as the backdrop. Thus, it is chosen for its shimmering effect that exudes elegance even when the lights are dimmed. This feature becomes the focal point. Thus, elevating the space with its refined allure.

Bedroom

The minimalist design of the bedrooms is enhanced by carefully selected colours that add vibrancy and break the monotony.

Moreover, each bathroom is crafted around a distinct theme. Moreover, featuring a thoughtful blend of marble and tiles to create a harmonious yet luxurious environment.
