With the aim of creating a minimalist and modern glance, a neutral colour palette is introduced to the exterior of the home. Since there is a calming effect with white and beige colours, the plantation further enhances the coolness. It is further balanced with the warm appearance of acacia wood in panelling, along with the WPCC ceiling. In this manner, the exterior conveys a contemporary impression complemented by a sustainable touch.
Editor’s Note: “Embracing a strict minimalist ethos, this Aurangabad residence exudes a serene aura. The interiors, a harmonious dance of double-height spaces, unfold in a muted palette that whispers tranquility. Yet, within this canvas of calm, the occasional burst of contrasting hues emerges, delicately punctuating the space and infusing it with vibrant energy, breaking the stillness with a breath of life.” ~Simran Khare
A Neutral Palette is Introduced to the Minimalist Modern Home | Design Quest Corporation
The entrance lobby is defining the design concept of the house, with wood being a highlighting element with warm white light and artificial marble tiles enriching the landscape, causing a warm and welcoming impression.
A double-height formal living room brings a spacious feel and comfort by inviting plenty of natural light. The indoor landscape serves not only to create a sense of outdoor space but also to serve as a visual barrier between family space and the lobby.
The contrast of light colours balances the colour theme throughout the space, with teal blue and veneer panelling drawing attention in the formal living room. This palette finely tunes the black and white abstract painting and 3D MDF panels, which stand out as features in the informal living area.
Fluted glass Partition between dining and living gratifying the requirement of grand space and privacy whenever needed.
Floral wall art with a gradient of pink and purple portrays a soothing effect in dining and serves as a partition between dining and the kitchen.
The bedrooms embrace a calm ambiance, enhanced by indoor plants that soften the sunlight. Subdued shades find balance with the underlying hues in fabrics and furniture, while the natural wooden floor and artificial marble tiles create a harmonious foundation.
The rubber wood in toilets looks elegant and is good at resisting moisture. The mirror light and ceiling light effect in the walk-in closet not only make it visually lavish but also reliable to perform various tasks.
