    [Sassy_Social_Share]

The initial view sets a tranquil tone for the rest of the aesthetic house. Upon entering the house, you are welcomed into a double-height space with a massive window that offers a stunning view of the central courtyard and its grand Buddha statue.

Editor’s Note: “This expansive residence in Jalandhar stands as a testament to luxury living, with its open plan, majestic central courtyard, and intricate details. The double-height living room, adorned with exquisite installations and paintings, adds grandeur to the abode. The central courtyard and water body, visible from every corner of the living space, exude a sense of grandiosity.” ~Simran Khare

    Outdoor Spaces

The exterior of the house features a two-level backyard with a wooden deck, water body, rain shower, and ample space for family gatherings. The Buddha statue is strategically placed to overlook the entire house. Thus ensuring that every room has a view of this serene figure.

    Tranquil Tone

As you approach Ananda, you are greeted by four Buddha statues. These statues serve more than an aesthetic purpose; they are guardians of the house, warding off negative energies and creating a serene environment right from the entrance.

Now coming to the superstar of the aesthetic house, the central courtyard seating. It is a serene view with sunken seating, surrounded by a water body all around. It gives you the feeling of sitting inside the water body, which not only calms your senses but also provides a respite from the heat.

The central space also has the incorporation of beautiful metal louvres that are a continuation of the exterior, with an addition of Indian patterns integrated into a modern design like an Easter egg.

Moving further down the corridor, you encounter another double-height living space with a clear view of the courtyard and backyard. The surrounding water bodies create a soothing and cool effect, even in the extreme temperatures of North India.

    Expansive Volume

The expansive spaces in Ananda, highlighted by their double-height ceilings and ample volume, create a calming effect through their overwhelming grandiosity.

To the right of the entrance is the formal dining and living area, which also provides a clear view of the central courtyard and its water feature.

The formal dining and living areas are located on the periphery of the water body, with the C-shaped design of the house allowing the gentle sound of water to permeate throughout. Thus enhancing the Buddhist meditation vibe.

We designed the formal dining and living areas with subtle stone shades and light colors to avoid overshadowing the surrounding greenery and landscape.

The landscape and water bodies are the stars of the house. Even though the rest of the elements are kept muted and subtle, they make a powerful impact.

    Staircase

This wall, combined with the Buddha statue, creates a sense of grandeur and serenity as you step inside. Adjacent to this bedroom is the staircase foyer, showcasing a beautiful spiral staircase that leads up to the private bedrooms of the house.

    aesthetic house

To the right, there is a bedroom with a double-height marble wall featuring intricate designs.

This expansive area includes a swimming pool, rain shower, sitting area, fireplace, and projector area. The fireplace ensures that this space is usable throughout the year.

    aesthetic house

The double-height living space near the backyard includes the formal kitchen. This offers a great view of the backyard and water body.

    Careful Planning

This uplifting view transforms daily chores, such as making tea or coffee, into enjoyable tasks. Additionally, there is a service kitchen for heavier work. Thus ensuring that food smoke and smells do not permeate the living spaces.

    aesthetic house

With the sound of water surrounding you from all around and a massive 25-foot-long custom-made Budhha statue imported from Bali, complemented by a southeast Asian-themed landscape.

Thus replicating a Vietnamese rainforest theme. Moreover, this seating area makes for the most immersive and tranquil experience in the house.
